TEXAS GAMEDAY 29 NOV 2019: wake up SURLY... BEAT TECH!
“You can gauge the success of the season, by how many highlights we have vs Kansas.” ha ha ha.

TEXAS GAMEDAY 29 NOV 2019: wake up SURLY... BEAT TECH!
Duffey is either crap or Heisman candidate-like. Techs D gambles big for turnovers and big plays. If they score early and force a TO, it could knock whatever motivation our guys have right out the window.

TEXAS GAMEDAY 29 NOV 2019: wake up SURLY... BEAT TECH!
GameDay looks pitiful. Paltry turnout, gloom & doom everywhere. No CJ, I guess his draft stock is going up.

TEXAS GAMEDAY 29 NOV 2019: wake up SURLY... BEAT TECH!
Tech hates being 4-7 and their fans hate their coach’s guts, but I bet they are more excited to be playing than our guys. Four months ago, we were gonna win 10, or 11. I said nine, and I was called everything but a white man. Now seven seems like we’re climbing Mt. Everest. A win, any win today, will be great. My wife’s family are all raider red’s. They are going to sweep us in hoops, and probably on the diamond this season, so we need a win today. FIGHT!!!

Cowboys vs Bills: Turkey Day Edition
As a lifelong Longhorn & Cowboy fan, both are similar in that they have enormous amounts of on-field talent, too much to both be 6-6 (yes, I’m assuming a loss tomorrow). Nothing about either situation gives me hope for the future.

I will be there.
Have fun, 927 E. 41st, be loud & proud! I had season tix for 12 years, first in old section 12, row 12, seats 3 & 4. I loved the last original part of the stadium, they tore it down, then I moved to Section 7, row 7. I had some great times. i still love the Horns, but 4 years ago, all my family & friends gave up theirs, so I gave mine up. 100 miles one way on game day was getting old. Hook ‘em!

Proud SFA grad (‘85 & ‘87), I’m probably safe saying this will never happen again.

Banner for the Tech game
I think the number of raider red’s in attendance, and the empty seats otherwise occupied by Burnt Orange, will speak volumes. But if I’m voting, it’s “FIRE STRONG”

We go 10-2 at worst
7-5? 6-6...6-7.

This was year #3 for Rhule & herman... which coach had his team prepared to play sound, disciplined football? No more questions necessary.

11.18.19 Coach Herman press conference (noon)
He looks and sounds like a beaten, overwhelmed, and totally clueless man on how to coach football to a bunch of talented players.

Already hitting the water bottle... extremely disappointed, had a chance to win, credit Iowa state, you want to know where we go from here, etc. correct mistakes, go 1-0 against Baylor yada yada That’s about it for me

Cowboys @ Lions
Dare someone say it- is this a must win situation? No stafford. If we can’t win today, when can we expect a win?

Arkansas fires Chad Morris
This would be interesting; Sonny frustrated us at tceh and Cal, he would bring some excitement to razorbackland. He’s another guy, ala Leach, who seems frustrated that he needs to try and play defense.

Texas opens as a 7 point underdog @ Iowa State
Just three stats this week: Total defense, ISU, #43; Texas, #109; Turnover Margin: ISU, #72; Texas, #41; Penalty Yards: ISU, #11; Texas, #108. it was a tossup until penalties. We find a way to screw up one of our possessions, and extend one of theirs. That’s the difference.

11.4.19 Coach Herman press conference Noon
The key indicator that Herman is not as smart as he thinks he is, is the fact he doesn’t play the game during press conferences. He doesn’t want to play the game, it’s that simple. You can throw out scripted answers, talk the talk, take responsibility, and they leave you alone. Herman acts all awestruck by questions like, “what are your goals”, or “what does player X returning give the defense”?, and gives long, convoluted answers to either rhetorical questions, or ones requiring 1-word answers. Then he acts all hurt when someone questions a coaching decision (which these reporters rarely do, anyway). Hes an insecure, arrogant, smug, and immature jerk, who has no idea what the answers are, but acts as if formulating verbose questions and using worn-out cliches causes people to marvel at his astounding intellect. He doesn’t really want to coach, that’s a job. He loves the position, though, and the fame he perceives goes with it. What a petty, little prick he truly is.

Texas opens as a 5 favorite v Kansas State
Foster, Sterns, Overshown & McCulloch returning should be a big shot in the arm on defense, & Whittington gives us more options on offense. But, it’s not about the players. Special teams need to break even, and we will need to benefit from a turnover or two. However, I expect every head coach we face to have an edge on Herman. I hope he proves me wrong soon.
