  1. How come the Earl Campbell hot-links aren’t red anymore?
  2. Best robot for in ground pool? The two most popular seem to be Dolphin and Polaris. I see some have Wi-Fi, is that really a benefit? Seems to be big range in price even within the same mgr. If this has already discussed, sorry for not paying attention.

65 got new wheels and casings. 4 lug limits the choices, got these from CJ pony parts. I love the new look and stance.
  5. Thanks amigo! No tomatoes or tomato sauce either, I know lots of folks add them. Is that a creole vs Cajun recipe?

I’m in Salado pretty often, will hit him up. Don’t have Facebook, do you know his days/hours? Closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Thurs, Fri and Sat 11:00-7:00 Sunday and Monday 11-5 Who had the bbq trailer in Temple out on Adams a few years ago?
  15. Team ketchup with white gravy on my CFS!
  16. I don’t think you can compare a restaurant gravy to home gravy, there is absolutely no telling what they might be doing, or it could even be a packet. Any used fat, oil or grease and flour will make a good gravy. The “paste” comes from not cooking the flour enough while making the roux, you have to cook the flour down before adding the milk. Roughly equal parts of flour/grease cooked thru, milk and S&P.

Thought about stopping by The Shed BBQ in Abilene tomorrow for lunch. Went online to check their hours, while looking around, noticed their brisket was $30/lb. Fuck!
  18. Allen’s in Sweetwater is badass, family style, share a table joint with incredible food. Coleman, Texas has great pizza if you go that way on the way back.
  19. @Anastasis just got back from Lake City, Colorado, highs were in the 70’s. It was 106 in Amarillo today.
  20. I like Braum’s dairy products and other food items but their burgers have a weird taste to me.

  22. Another vote for Shimano. I have the chronarch’s, Calais and calcuttas and couldn’t be happier.
  23. Only those selling out in Austin can afford it! High life got expensive as shit since the pandemic.
  24. That’s a big chunk of meat, it will stay warm a long time in a cooler. Especially if there are several briskets in there.
  25. Finally getting this wrapped up. Started in September, held off on completion until the temps warmed up. Started filling it last Friday, we used water truck for better water quality and for the convenience. Eight trucks later she is full. Now we can start on the yard.
