  1. You know there’s guerrillas in these woods.
  2. “What are they saying now? “It’s not you, it’s me.”
  3. "I'm running the meeting." The other old man in charge of building A puffs his cigar and says "if you think so" and it slays me every time.
  4. What are you getting on the Long Island Expressway for? Do you know what the traffic will be like? This is a suicide mission!
  5. And who could forget from The Secret Code: “And there, tucked into the river's bend was the object of my search. The Gwon-Jaya River Market. Fabrics and spices traded under a starlit sky. It was there that I discovered the Pamplona Beret. Sizes seven-and-a-half through eight-and-three-quarters. Price, thirty-five dollars.”
  6. I, too, once fell under the spell of opium. It was 1979. I was travelling the Yangtze in search of a Mongolian horsehair vest.
  7. Goddamnit how did I miss this thread today.
  8. Gotta have one pick under 40. As far as prize you find out when you win.
  9. Has been NFL quarterbacks work, too.
  10. He was definitely sniffing!
  11. Yep, pressure affected it too so good on Jags. A good throw there might well have been a titans TD.
  12. Jags are gonna win this and probably cover if the Tits can’t get any pressure on Sunshine.
  13. Ok well that’s weird as fuck I guess I had two tabs open and this got cross posted.
  14. Not that they couldn’t move it up but their charter isn’t scheduled to depart Cincy till 1:30am. Teams typically don’t stay at hotels the night after games so there’s quite a few things the team staying at the stadium could mean.
  15. Disagree. There are policies that cover injuries, and return to play after injuries. Refs train to know the rules and procedures and what to do though unfortunately in the heat of the moment, not all are capable of applying a more rational, reasonable standard in the seconds where millions are watching. NFL coaches are (largely) very smart sons of bitches and exceptional in crisis situations. I'm not surprised Taylor and McDermott were the two to take control of the situation.
  16. I have no idea of the legal ramifications but Disney/ESPN should make the NFL's decision for them and just tell them they are done for tonight. Their broadcast and camera crews are going home.
  17. And demonstrating known symptoms of a concussion. Death at that moment was not exactly a concern.
  18. Prayers for this young man. I don’t see how you can administer CPR and continue a game.
  19. Would have been a far more impressive pick had you not waited till the day they announced her cancer diagnosis.
  20. Who will be the first on the board for 2023?
  21. Bookended my list for 87 points.
  22. I’ll sew thjs W up so long as all the Atlanta rappers can take it easy today until midnight.
