Manchester-London-Paris-somewhere else this Spring
I'll echo the previous sentiments...cut the # of cities you want to visit. And how old are your kids? You can easily, easily fill a week in London as a first-timer and never remotely feel bored, many of the sites and museums have been mentioned but you haven't gotten to the shopping and theatre options yet, several GREAT shows that kids love. For shopping there's Hamleys, Harrods, and a billion other awesome options. Day trips from London my kids have loved...Warwick Castle and Portsmouth Dockyard. Also, IF Paris was a must I'd personally do Manchester - Paris - London. So much depends on your kids ages, in my opinion.

This might be my new favorite post on this board. So much truth.

New Orleans Food and Drink Thread
Missed a lot of this thread, probably said several times but will reiterate that Irene's is a great dinner spot for Italian fare. Going to Commander's Palace for the first time in a few weeks, I'll report back.

Wives and the Stupid Shit They Say/Do
Textbook. I left the house yesterday to go watch football and drink beers with the guys and on my way, my wife calls and says "how much does it cost to replace the entire water dispenser thing on our refrigerator?" I said I have no idea, why, to which she replies that "it's dirty and she's not sure how to clean it." I said just leave it alone and I'll look at it tomorrow when I'm sobered up. Uber drops me back off at home around 8:30pm, and I shower and goto bed shortly thereafter. 2am I wake up and go out to make a glass of water, the goddamn dispenser isn't working at all. She wakes up this morning and I said WTF did you do to the fridge? "I accidentally broke it trying to clean it." I called a repairman and he'll be out tomorrow. I'm pretty certain this will cost me at least $500.

Joe Tessitore is worse than Galindo.
Don’t like the announcer when your team sucks? That’s a shitty take. Tess is great. Hook em.

Boeing 737 crashes with 180 on board in South Korea
Tragic. 15 year-old 737-800...ADS-B tracking had it landing to the north on Runway 01 but clearly from the wreck it was landing to the south on Runway 19, at a seemingly much higher rate of speed than normal. Supposedly 737s like this are tough to land gear-up given the plane has a manual gear deploy capability that gravity drops and locks the gear, usable even in situations of complete hydraulic failure.
