CEO of UHG Shot and Killed in NYC - WTF is wrong with you New York
A missed opportunity to use the word defenestrate at the least. I'm disappointed in Mr Canecutter.

2021 - Is inflation finally back in the conversation?
I'm pretty sure we end up spending multiples of that on just snacks to munch on before the meal.

serious: the hell that i just went through at Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute
Looking at that map, I see a lot of green around rural areas as well as cities. I don't think we can draw a conclusion of city vs rural based on that.

I figure I'll mess around with the native software enough to kinda get a feel for things and then venture out to the other stuff once I've got an idea of what I'm doing.

Hunting 24/25: big bucks and a lot of ducks!
Supposed to storm all night and then clear up just after daybreak at our place in East Texas. That's as good of a recipe as any for them to be moving during the day given the warm temperatures.

3D Printing
Did my first print of something that wasn't preloaded on the printer last night. Took me a bit because the flash drive that came with it was corrupted and wouldn't even format. Anyhow, I eventually found another one and was able to download the firmware updates and stuff and figure out how to use the slicer to print this guy. The first time I tried to print it without supports because I didn't think about the hands or back of the helmet hanging down. Stopped it and resliced it and got a pretty decent print. Gonna have to figure out how to fine tube the settings, but so far it has been pretty much plug and play.

But, but, but, the zipper merge is more efficient!* *this doesn't take into account real world conditions, like how it only so many cars can pass a certain point at any given speed no matter how they merge, or the fact that zooming up to the last minute and merging in causes a yoyo effect that .makes traffic exponentially more dangerous for drivers upstream, or that it usually doesn't make a difference if the line in the left lane is a bit longer.

I've got a $600 gift card to Amazon, and am looking to get a printer. I want something that can print in CF Nylon filament eventually. Looking at the R Qidi X-Plus 3 for the size of the bed and it's capabilities, but I'm open to suggestions.
