Tiger does look like he’s barely holding on. Could be a long day of bogey-birdie golf for him ending with a 71 or something and that’s not going to cut it.
Molinari looks like he just doesn’t give a shit which is a great attitude to stay cool. He’s just so steady and calm. I think he’s still up 1-2 strokes at the turn and then if Tiger is still around he has to get aggressive to go after the win.
The front side of this golf course is probably one of the best in the world and you never hear about it because of how amazing and historic the back side of this course is.
Bobby Jones was an absolute artist between course design and the mechanics of the golf swing.
Have to think that if this goes to Monday that really helps the field because the tiger crowds will be much smaller. Looked like there were about 10,000 people around the first tee.
Anyone within 5 strokes is probably in striking distance since the leaders are going to have shit weather. Really introduces a crappy element for the final two groups.
Molinari just doesn’t seem like a guy that would give a shit. Most euros dont seem that way. But American pro players seem to lose it against tiger. Rory sabbatini most notably but many others haven’t been able to handle a final day pairing with tiger.
the x-factor to me is tigers emotion. If he is rolling them in and sticking darts regardless of his driver AND he is fist pumping to get the crowd in it then he could shoot 66 and win by 2-3. Will tiger be subdued? Or will tiger be jacked up like a 25 year old Eldrick with a fresh script of viagra?
I will be tuned in.
Out of nowhere, Devon Dotson declares from KU. They say they plan on being back but this would be a major blow. If we lose KJ, dedric, Vick, Moore, doke, Silvio, and Dotson we might not make the tourney next year.
I think they always have them about the same location on Saturdays and sundays. They look tough but it’s moving day and the slopes of the greens really help players access the pin locations. Especially 16. It looks like it’s on the water basically but as long as you get the ball tk the back of the green you’ll be right down by the pin.
I don’t think Miller even thinks he’s going to survive based on his speech to the crowd at the last home game. Luke would probably be a great pick up for them and for him as long as he could recruit.
Divac is getting the James Dolan/Isaiah Thomas treatment by Kings ownership. He was hired as a consultant and was immediately give all decision making power. George Karl, cousins, and a GM all gone in his first 2 years on the job. But they got buddy Heild, willie caulie-Stein, Fox and z-bo so I guess you could say it’s just flaming bag of poop and not a full on dumpster fire. I wouldn’t want to be within 2 hours of Sacramento. The bay just happens to be about 1.5 hours away.
Just asking if he tweaked something on the course. Had to get some work done so hadn't been watching since about 2. Tiger just missed another short one.
