2018 Masters
Jeez, just when I'm feeling old at 48, I see a 68-yr old go around in -6 and a 78-yr old go around in -4. Granted, a par-3 course, but getting 2s on the scorecard ain't no piece of cake.

The Death Trap That Is 290 West
Yeah. It was dangerous 25 years ago, and quite a bit worse now with lots more traffic. Every time I hear about an accident on it I cringe because of all the people I know who drive it twice a day.

New longest non-stop
But talking about long flights... I was once on a super-budget airline Air Asia flight from Kuala Lumpur to London. 16 hours, cramped seating, middle seat, & very few amenities. I'm just glad I pre-selected and paid for a meal when I booked, because those who didn't were SOL.

New longest non-stop
Back in the early 2000s there was a scheduled Delta flight from Austin to San Antonio that I ended up on because I was on a trip to Salt Lake City. I could have sworn it was less than 17 minutes. But in any case it was quite the short hop.

So I jump ship in Hong Kong and I make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas.
Oh there won't be any money. But when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness. So I got that going for me... which is nice.

New longest non-stop
Whoa, yeah, that's a long one. Have always been intrigued by ultra long flights. That route makes sense.

2018 Tax Appraised Values
Hm. Not seeing that option for my property? Just N/A for the 2018 values, and no other buttons or choices for more information...

Austin Nostalgia Picture Thread
I agree with you, Chet. I can see how someone would think it is the NEC of Burnet & Koenig because that pic shows a 7-11, and there is one there now too. But what gives it away is the terrain/hillside on the far right of this pic. Nothing like that ever existed at Burnet & Koenig - the land slopes the other way.
