This Twitter has most of the local media types, Austin FC staff, players and fans who are active. I'm on it, which is the most important thing. https://twitter.com/i/lists/1297900873448861703?s=20

Stadium is supposed to be finished mid-April but they need time to hire and train 1000+ game day staff. Which they have to do in small groups because of COVID.
For those of you wondering about in person experience, this is good news.

And the roof over the supporters section is at its lowest point. That particular element is because that’s where the rigging will go for concerts. Overall it’s definitely a feature and something the stadium team has talked about on a certain podcast.
We interviewed Jon Arnold a couple weeks ago and he talked about how FCD doesn't really know what they want to be and that their marketing game is pretty weak. You can't sell out stadiums just appealing to soccer moms in Frisco.
Also a smooth move by the Hunts putting the US Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco. Makes it that much harder to wrest the club away and relocate it somewhere people will care.
Yeah, should be twice as many home games as road games once the stadium opens.
I think we will have a pretty good away crowd for Colorado. Booked my flight to Denver.
They are in training at St Ed’s. First preseason match is on the 19th and closed to fans/media. Pretty sure some of us are going to test what closed means.
Training camp and preseason friendly schedule out. St. Edward's closed to fans, but I don't think they can stop people from watching on the hill overlooking the field. https://www.austinfc.com/post/2021/03/01/austin-fc-announces-preseason-training-camp-presented-st-davids-healthcare-ahead
Pulisic's brother also training with the club.
Designated player #2 on the books. Claudio also said on the press conference this morning that they are going to wait to see where the on field gaps are and signed the third DP this summer. https://www.austinfc.com/post/2021/02/11/tom-s-pochettino-signs-austin-fc-designated-player-contract
Also, shameless plug for the podcast. Interviewed Jordan Enke this week about the stadium and learned some new things about the plans for ride share dropoff, bike parking and confirmation that the stadium is going to have 100% cashless payment.

Zilker Park is technically Austin's biggest backyard right? Still, cool to see a local company on the building. And not one with an annoying name or logo.
