  1. Mods, feel free to ban/delete user/thread, etc…. Starting a discussion for topics related to our season opener against couch-burning, jort-wearing d-bags. I went in 2005, and like a lot of you went to the HornFans/Miani”s tailgate and dealt with the whole white-trash townie/High Street shitbag experience. Despite all of that, going back again cuz fuckin’ Horns. I assume our esteemed leader will have an epic event planned as always, but opening this up as a general conversation around tickets/hotels/flights, etc….
  2. Lol…although Byron ‘Whizzer’ White is a different story altogether…
  3. Tell me he could be the next Justin McLemore and I’ll be downright giddy. I was going to say Bryan White but he made two massive plays at Nebraska in 1998 so I’m not talking shit on him. Without those two catches and Ricky running down a DB from behind after a pick, we don’t win that game…
  4. I’d do it with Eason; still holding out hope for Sheppard to develop…
  5. Ignatius replied to Derka's topic in Basketball
I don’t know man, that dude (name escapes me) who was here the year after LA has carved out a decent NBA career….
  6. Or get a third team involved who would deal a 4/5 to Phoenix for Green…
  7. You ever spent any time in Minneapolis?
  8. Eugene, Seattle, Madison, or Minneapolis- fuck the rest of those places…
  9. I’m now firmly in the camp that unless Giannis becomes available for a ‘reasonable’ price (it would be massive), we more or less stand pat until the trade deadline next season. Caveat is there’s probably nobody at 10 who gets any playing time this year so maybe package Whitmore/10/Landale for a vet who can shoot off the bench. Our real value with the PHX picks comes in two years…
  10. If we’re gonna deal all of those picks I’d rather roll the dice on Ja being able to walk a straight line than on KD…
  11. What year (about) do you think that happened? The shit I listed above (along with offensive linemen being allowed to block with their hands outside their shoulders) happened in 1977/78….
  12. NFL became a passing league because over time they outlawed the head slap, chuck beyond five yards, etc., and defenses had to adapt. Still, I think the changes were good - go watch a game from the 70s on YouTube sometime, it’s like watching paint dry (and I’m 58)…
  13. I will be stunned if Corso doesn’t take this opportunity to roll out one last ‘not so fast my friend’….
  14. Still not great by any means, but showing signs of life. Let’s break the brooms out tomorrow and get back to .500…..
  15. Man those picks are gold; I’m good with dealing the one this year because the last goddam thing we need on this roster is a rookie. If Giannis is really out of play and if the asking price for KD is really what the intergoogle says it is, I’m good with starting the season in by and large run it back mode. If we sign FVV to a revised deal that gives us enough flexibility to get a veteran shooter off the bench with the MLE. Maybe we can package Landale and Holiday’s no-guarantee deals with #10 and Whitmore to get another non-starting shooter. Lets see what Milwaukee thinks about the Freak when they’re 20-32 at the trade deadline…
  16. We have the 2nd highest winning percentage in MLB (behind Detroit) when scoring at least 4 runs this year….
  17. That’s my problem with it…
  18. Man that’s some fucking bullshit. You’re getting squeezed out because high money donors can buy more seats than they used to be able to to sell the surplus and defray the cost of their tickets. I’m a capitalist at heart, but once they expanded seating at the cotton bowl you basically were guaranteed OU tix if you were a season ticket holder. Full disclosure-I personally am not getting fucked because I’m old, but I feel for those who are…
  19. It’s fitting that Chubb play for us given that it was our pick (sent to Cleveland in the Cock Asswiper trade in 2016) that brought him into the league…
  20. First sentence was a Penthouse Forum-quality opening line; remainder an epic fail…
  21. Brimful of Asha….
  22. That’s just fucking silly…
  23. They also need to move the game day stage from where it is now back to around the big fountain on the Esplanade by the car shows. You’re a fucking moron if you try to enter the stadium at the main gate anyway, but the crush of people that the game day crew creates makes it way worse….
