Games you aren’t planning on attending are probably the crappy games a lot of people are going to sell. Especially if it’s a September game, the sooner the better. Be happy with face unless you’ve got really good seats…
Funny thing about that song is Paul Westerberg’s sister was a flight attendant and used to bitch to him about what jackasses the passengers were and the shit they would give her, so he wrote a song mocking those people. She literally was “a Reunion (long-defunct airline) flight attendant, my-oh-my”…
While we’re on the topic of boxing, there will never be a greater round in the history of the sport than Hitman v Hagler. This was real-life boxing like it looks in the movies, and from the fucking get-go….

Thing is that’s way too many seats to add up to only 4K; my guess is we’re only getting the upper rows in that range, similar to Tuscaloosa last year. Hopefully the Surly 1% will post their locations once the tix are released; for a bucket list game like this, personally I’d rather sit in shitty seats with a bunch of Horns than get better seats and sit in the middle of the enemy. Our seats at tOSU in 2005 were fucking horrible and I wouldn’t trade that for anything…
After as disappointing a first half as you could have had coming off a title, we hit the break 4 losses behind Houston and either 4 or 5 behind Seattle. Seems like we’re going to have to have some kind of 9 of 11 streak to really get back into the mix, but right now I’ll take it. Rest up a few days and hopefully get Jung and Mahle within a couple of weeks….
I’d rather have QBs take up 70% of every team’s cap than make the rules any more QB friendly. How about leave all the rules the same (especially intentional grounding) and eliminate the “can’t chuck more than 5 yards down the field” rule?
Illinois jumped out to me; they’ve always had good support, but you look at the top 7 and they’re the only one who can’t really make a case for being one of the bluebloods of college hoops, at least historically….
