Penn st vs Indiana
Never have placed such a bet. I find it intriguing that they can do such a thing and stay in business.

Tom "the turtle" Herman [Lame Duck or greatest 5d chess player ever?]
Must be a rule I was unaware of. I thought the inter webs were open to all.

How much are you giving towards the buyout? A good bit actually, how about you?

I'll have a glass of what he's having.

I would be shocked if that were within his capabilities.

I don't like our chances with OSU, KSU, or IS. There will be quite a price for firing him, but it's exceeded by the price of not firing him.

Army-Navy Game moved to Michie Stadium... that's on post at West Point
I'll watch, but I always watch. We're a Navy family and going to an Army-Navy game is on my bucket list. Playing the game there will just be cool.

Texas opens as a 14 point favorite v Baylor
I hereby declare a "can't lose weekend", either we win which is good or we lose meaning Herman is likely gone, which is good..

Texas opens as a 14 point favorite v Baylor
From what I've seen of CDC, I'd say it would take a signed agreement, but again, it lifts my spirits to dream of Herman gone.

Texas opens as a 14 point favorite v Baylor
I'm trying to imagine what it would be like to lose to Baylor. I'm thinking it would be Herman's equivalent to Strong's Kansas loss. Would Herman be relieved of duty immediately after the game? A man is allowed to dream. But then again, screw Baylor!

Are we about to candy up our work clothes?
I am grunteled by one thing, and we'll see if it holds up. NO NAMES ON THE BACK. Maybe we can start to actually have a TEAM, instead of a bunch of individuals (emulating the arrogance of their coach). Maybe, a start.

Well okay, drop him in Dallas County where we should have left him 9 days ago!

Texas opens as a 14 point favorite v Baylor
I think we win, and IF we have a big lead Herman will keep his foot on the gas due to the heat on his seat. If we lose, it is my wish that we leave Herman somewhere in McLennan county and let him find his own way home!

Tom "the turtle" Herman [Lame Duck or greatest 5d chess player ever?]
This thread has clarified something for me. If Urban Meyer were named head coach, I don't care who he hires or who he keeps. That's what I want. A head coach that can hire and fire, with my first thought being "he's got this". Hell, Coach O even got lucky once but I doubt his ability to keep it going. Give me one of the handful of head coaches that handles this well and with confidence (Not arrogance) and I'll be a happy man.

Mack Brown Tarheel Football: The Orange Slice Boogaloo
Credit where it's due. We have a grand total of two coaches that have brought us NC's, Mack is one of them.
