Dream 1st round matchup
GSW - OKC: I can see OKC winning at least 1 game, which 1 more than SA or LAC. Hopefully we get to see this mythical "playoff P"
HOU - SA: will the ghosts of the playoff past haunt D'Anthony and Harden? When LMA plays the Rockets, he is Duncan 2.0 and Pop always has something in his bag. Expect non-stop highlights of the Dream abusing Robinson and Manu blocking Harden 3 pt shot.
Too bad Nurkic and McCollum is injured or else Jazz and POR would be 🔥
Got obliterated on the boards (Looney was a man on a mission) and mised 30 threes = Rockets lose everytime.
Need to start House and EG to the bench. The 3 guard lineup cant rebound. Also EG had Curry guarding him, why not just let EG cook instead of force feeding Harden?
I also have an unpopular opinion, I hate this MVP push by Harden. At times he is forcing it to the detriment of the team. Take last night for example, Harden was struggling and coughing up the ball repeatedly against double teams (almost cost us the game). Gordon was playing and shooting well, I would rather have the ball in his hand the last few possessions.
Just when everybody thought that AD offers will get better in the summer..... I gotta tip my hat to Klutch, their collusion game is incredible.
With that said, my guess now is that the Pelicans will trade AD to the best non-Lakers offer next week.
I was so pissed that the Rockets lost to the Peliccans JV team last night. But now, I'm thinking that since GSW winning is almost assured, maybe the only thing left to root for is Harden's MVP campaign, win or lose be damned. Cheering on this 30+ points streak like the Thunders' fans cheer for triple doubles. FML
EG left Pelicans on very bad terms, they wouldnt want him if he was available for free. There would need to be a 3rd team to take on EG (many would want him: Pistons, 76ers, Pacers, etc)
We are 1/4 through the season and I'm still not sure which team is for real and which team is a pretender. Are the Clippers and Grizzlies gonna make the playoff?
I cant think of a team that has the assets to trade for Fultz and has the right atmosphere (coach that works well with young pg, rebuilding team) for him to grow.
He is actually already back, he was in Pepsi center yesterday working with the team. I don't think the timing of him coming back, the first game Melo stayed back in Houston, is a coincidence though.
76ers might as well throw in all their of chips in and trade fultz for a win-now contributor. I love Butler but he has a lot of Thibs' miles and is on a decline. Although still a great player, he wouldnt be worth the max moving forward.
Well they finally realized switching defense is not working. D'Anthony said that they are gonna scrap it next game. Still not going to matter when you have Green and Melo playing heavy minutes.
