I always wondered who was getting fooled by the athletic department using the number of games to justify price increases (shocker, the price never came down the next year when there were fewer games!). Now I know.
2023 - 6 games, 2025 6 games - increased over prior 6 game season 2024 - 7 games, 2026 7 games - increased over prior 7 game season So adjusting for games and looking at equivalent period over period comparisons, they have gone up every time.
iirc it was a perk for people who paid for 2020 season tickets and let the school keep the money after COVID restrictions came in and people couldn’t go to the games. it doesn’t matter at all now though - with the changes in tax laws making the donation no longer tax deductible, there’s no difference between “donation” and “ticket prices” so the school is just going to increase ticket prices.
I'm so grateful for how he handles the searches as well. No more embarrassing reports, delays, etc. He handles it behind the scene and move quickly. Great representative of the university.
Helm is such a terrible blocker (or he just doesn't care)... So many blown up plays this year I've rewatched only to notice Helm totally whiff on key blocks
Has anyone seen good film breakdown of why Jaxson Dart was able to put up 515 yards and 6 TDs on Arkansas a week prior to our game but we couldn't? What were they doing differently than us to put up 63 points? Figure some 9.95er has done a breakdown
This is also all historical looking. With the new money discrepancy between conferences and the ability to pay athletes, who knows how much the basketball landscape will change for the Big10 and SEC
