  1. I’ve only known one Mindy, and she was a real bitch.
  2. If you can fake signatures in the electronic or IR spectrum, what makes you think you can’t fake them in the visual spectrum?
  3. I want to believe in Arteta. But I'm in a wait and see. And this is why. From a Jimmy and Joes point of view, we just don't have the players needed.
  4. Warfare. Which is what this is. Public or private we better get better at it. Quickly.

Ya. Buddy got the email, not me. He asked my opinion because it wasn’t high on his list, I told him he should snag it and trade for something he does want. Seems to be the prevailing opinion.

Old forester 150 anniversary batch proof. Opinions and experiences? Seems steep at $180

Yup. Spaced out of course, and the outdoor area looked nice. Only weird thing is that you have to use a QR code reader on your phone to look at the menu. I gather that tons of places do that now (we haven’t been out since pre-pandemic), it’s just weird at a nice date spot to have your phone out. We normally have a no phones rule at dinner.
  8. They tend to seesaw those back and forth. The years it is land value it is pretty much impossible to protest, so take your shot at a reduction this year.

Did Rosewood last weekend. Lamb, cauliflower, and tartare. Would recommend. Strawberry tart was nothing special.
  10. This is how you humblebrag.
  11. Our last house we rearranged some interior walls and added plumbing. TCAD went in dry as it was a “major” remodel and classified our home’s condition as the best in the neighborhood. Nevermind we only remodeled 1/4 of the house. in the same spot as you currently. Want to extend a covered patio about 7 feet to add an outdoor kitchen with built in gas line and electric. Which would be 3 trades worth of permits. Honestly not sure what to do, won’t be here forever and want a stress free sale when that happens but fuck TCAD. They really incentivize people to not pull permits, which is ass backwards
  12. This is the crux of my question. To the best of my knowledge all major wireless carriers have pretty similar terms, so is there one I'm missing that is better than the others? It seems like currently if you have any concerns about the provider selling your data as a consumer for example, you're pretty much SOL.
  13. Yeah its not spam, here's a LA Times link, and T-Mobile's T&C were updated beginning of this month.
  14. So I have a personal phone with AT&T and a T-Mobile phone for work. In the last few weeks I've either gotten texts or emails from both providers mentioning forced arbitration being the only avenue if I continue using my device on their network. Realistically I don't think there are many differences in providers, and I would guess they're all selling every last piece of my data they can to whomever will buy it. So why now? I googled and can't find anything news related that would necessitate changes. This arstechnica link is almost 2 years old.
  15. Hail in 78735. Wheee.
  16. I don’t think you understand the concept of karma. But carry on.

I stumbled upon a bottle of John Bowman single barrel. Excited to try it based on some of the reviews a few pages back.
  18. Just looked at a bunch of Austin breweries on my social media. Putting this on businesses instead of government is a total abdication of responsibility, and going just about as well as you’d expect. I’m going to assume someone gets shot over this before it’s all said and done.
  19. State leadership didn’t kill enough people last week I guess.
  20. How crazy must the drug dog have been around that much cocaine?
  21. drt replied to Jimbaround's topic in Food and Travel
Correct. I didn’t spend that much last year, this drawing was in December and I still had status from the year prior.

Actually just asked the guy and they’re now doing it every 3 months.

It’s once or twice a year and pretty much based only off total spend. I bought a ton of assorted booze for a social event last year.

I got the email that I have a Blanton’s waiting for me. I’ll take it, but I wish it was something I’d never had before though.
