  1. Haven't seen any shiny red noses on the shop's roof where the poop is, but maybe it's because of that spiral staircase. Do deer eat citrus?

Went to the Burnley game when Alexis put away the last minute penalty to win. Sat in the club level above the away fans, almost even with the 18. Was awesome. 2nd the food but we walked from the Arsenal stop, didn't think it was too bad even with a preg other half. The players leave from the car ramp on the west side of the stadium, if you want to gawk at some nice cars.
  3. Asking for a friend. Pretty sure this friend has a raccoon or possum visiting their yard each night to munch on foliage. What does one do with a raccoon or possum inside the Austin city limits if you trap it in a live trap? Austin being Austin, Animal Control will just reintroduce it into the neighborhood as its been shown to be able to survive there, and they can't guarantee it will elsewhere. So options: Trashcan of water, drive out of town and release on some country road, call a dude, electrify the trap and watch your fence burst into flames? TIA.

So what would you call Peter Crouch?

    Trillium. Thank me later.

Enjoyed the breakdown, not that it's groundbreaking news but it laid it out clearly. I would hope that in games against less dangerous sides than the Man City and Chelsea's of the world we'd be able to play Xhaka and cover for his deficiencies. It just means that in big games we'd need to sit him and likely play a different style that is more pragmatic.
  7. I thought at first read this would have to do with Richie. Glad it wasn't.
  8. Pretty sure they practice this with bears in Yellowstone, but I’d think grizzlies are different in hunting habits than cougars. Also a shitload more people in close proximity on a regular basis.

Oh yay. Man city tear apart some relegation fodder and the good game goes unwatched on gold. Fuck you nbc.

Anyone know how Port A is over Christmas? Worth the extra few hours to South Padre for an extra degree or two of warmth?

Well, at least sokratis knows when to get a yellow.

Watch him without the ball at other times instead of just after he loses possession. He consistently ranked in the last 2 or 3 players in ground covered at Arsenal, even though his behavior was exactly what you describe. Edit to add: he also did score a lot of goals for us, initially at least.

Some fuckstick put a poll on Nextdoor to see who supported a soccer stadium at McKalla PL. 60% of the respondents said no, or not in the deal's current form. Austin gonna Austin.

I don't get it. Its like they want to sell less ads. I'm sure not buying their subscription service that I'm sure they'll offer.
  16. As a thickening agent, probably
  17. I get 3% from the company regardless, but no match.
  18. $1700 for a new tailgate for the truck. It has a backup camera. Apparently that crepe myrtle really came out of nowhere.
  19. Well, all I got is that living next to a methhead tends to resolve itself quickly. I only had ~6 months of sleeping with a shotgun under the bed before he fucked up badly enough that cops could do something. 3 years and I would have bounced.
  20. I have black beans going right now with all the standard aromatics, but I don't ever cook animal proteins in a crockpot. Wife does that and it belongs in the stupid shit thread.
  21. Yup. Terrible all the way around.
  22. Trippier telling the guy off for diving is laughable
  23. LOL Dos Santos already winded and can't jog after the ball. Little out of shape buddy?
  24. If you know where the cutoff/meter by the street is (and you can't turn it off..that's weird, all of them I've used had a valve that is super easy), then you know which side of the house the water comes in on. The house shutoff would probably be in the garage, especially if that's where your water heater is. That also assumes you have a house side shutoff, but I'd think a house built in 2002 would. Do you have a whole house water softener?
