Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]
Whatever you think of that look, and at least the Cybertruck does look different, I'll give Tesla that much, in business terms, as in revenue > expense, I don't see how the Cybertruck comes out as anything but a monumental disaster. It just can't be profitable to make things that don't sell. And now Elon wants to pivot into making robots, I don't know if they are actually capable of making them, but I am 100% sure they are not capable of selling them. It is so weird, the market value of TSLA is obviously so completely dependent on Musk being the true wonder-genius, but it is incredibly obvious that these wonder-genius ideas will never make actual money, so the true economic value of TSLA is actually completely dependent on removing Elon from things entirely. Markets do a lot of irrational things but this is really one for the ages.

Ballmer alleged to have paid Kawhi Leonard 28m under the table to avoid the salary cap
This is somebody whose net worth went up by almost $1 billion the day he announced he was leaving Microsoft.

Chase Sapphire Reserve new fees and benefits
Do you get cash back with this card? If you don't, that needs to figure into the annual cost. My personal inclination on these cards, is that I don't want to deal with having to keep up with the benefits to make good use out of them. I'd rather think about something else, so I just get a decent cash back card, then spend that on whatever perks that card has, or something I actually want more. And maybe that benefit carrot hanging in front of you makes you pick a restaurant, hotel, or something else that isn't really what you want, just so you can claim a credit. To me, worrying about whether you get enough $ back is a waste of time. The plan is probably designed to lure you into spending too much anyways, which makes it even less of a 'deal'. So I'd only care about the non-financial benefits, and decide if those were worth the fee.

As a fraction/proportion of the capacity, both would be the same.

If they are the same depth, then the surface area should have the same proportion to capacity in both.

Русский корабль - иди нахуй
June 22 1941 is probably the single most disastrous day in Russian military history, it would make a good analogy.

2026 World Cup in North America: Step 1 - the host cities
Yep. After the one in Japan/Korea, FIFA came to their senses and decided to never ever do another World Cup that spanned borders. Now they have lost their senses again, and in this climate it will be a disaster.

Markets still falling like whoa
Since they really are aiming for the 1800's, back then interest rates were like 3-4 percent I think, so at least we got that going for us...

Tariff wars, they have began
The treasury bonds are not callable by the holder, rather the US government must pay interest over the full term (up to 30 years), then pays back the principal at the end. So China (or anybody else) cannot force the US government to pay early. What they CAN do is stop buying more US treasury bonds. If we did try and default on paying them, that would cause an economic disaster that would make this current one seem like chump change. So we will probably try that next.

10-Year ain't cash. 3 to 6 month is cash-equivalent, but 10 years is different.

This. Berkshire Hathaway is mostly an insurance company, followed by a diverse collection of wholly owned companies, that followed by a probably less diverse collection of public shares in companies.

Random thoughts that don't warrant a thread
Per this link, urine is about 9.3 g urea/liter, so a little less than 1%. So you need maybe 35 times as much volume. You will add a lot of salt which probably borks things up, but you do you. More beer probably won't help though, that just means you pee more water, and there is probably not much (if any) increase in the amount of dissolved solids, they just get diluted more. https://chem.libretexts.org/Bookshelves/Introductory_Chemistry/Fundamentals_of_General_Organic_and_Biological_Chemistry_(LibreTexts)/29%3A_Body_Fluids/29.08%3A_Urine_Composition_and_Function
