Tthe only think preventing this team from going on a tear is our defense. It’s just not getting any better. Offense is top 5 now after last nights game.
I still think they are trying to create a rivalry with us and Souf and us and LSU with mullet there. also, we are Texas (hate that saying) and we bring eyeballs and sellouts. I guess I just don’t get that caught up in conference openers and if we open on the road or at home. What I do care about is are the home/away games equal and are they spread out in a logical fashion for everyone.
The frustrating part of the beginning of the season was those who would purposely come on here just to tout how much they don't watch Longhorn basketball or come here to quip "can't wait for baseball to start!" as if it nets them some imaginary increase in status to make it known they don't watch (or appreciate) Longhorn basketball. It's immature and fucking annoying.
No, I don't think there's a conspiracy--yet. I'll wait to see what the SEC schedule is like next year. If we get another H/H with LSU and Souf Carolina comes here (and we don't go there) then I'll be fine. I'm still up in the air on Vanderbilt. We are bitching now because they are legit and we had to play there. But Vanderbilt was picked to finish 7th in the conference. Playing at Souf and at LSU is tough because all three of us were picked 1, 2, 3. I just don't think people expected Vanderbilt to be this good so I'm saying we just got a little unlucky. I see what JS posted above and I'm not disagreeing with it. I guess I'm waiting to see what the schedule will be like for next year before I scream conspiracy. I would also bet $5 that Vic let CDC know about his anger with the schedule. My other guess is they looked at our schedule and said "we gave you 3 high ranking SEC home games in a row, why are you complaining?" but that's just a cop out.
talarico is mounting up the newspaper endorsements. Crockett has 1, I believe. I don’t like what I’m seeing on socials in regards to these two and their supporters.
