  1. I’ve read a lot of coaching theories and opinions from both sides of this Sark thread. I really personally don’t know where I fit yet on Sark. I guess I need to see more of who he really is as a program builder and sustainer. One thing I have seen…in today’s Rose Bowl I have witnessed a coaching clinic. If you are watching you know which coach.
  2. Sheww.. now we can breathe. I am ready for a nice, long reprieve and rest from Texas Football and so ready for the Muschamp era to begin. Go to work Sark in offseason and gather the troops. Win at the portal. Work your team’s butt off in the offseason. Bring it Arch.
  3. Are y’all talking about Seven win Steve?
  4. We needed to rest.
  5. AGGY…KEEP IT UP. You are spot on
  6. I really don’t know what to say or think about that game except…Hook’em!!
  7. Sark sucks whether he benches him or not.
  8. My take on what I am seeing. After watching the last two years in the playoffs with plenty of talent but with holes, I think we had good enough teams to win it all but lacked quality coaching like we have seen at other schools. This year is a mess and the most accountable is Sark. I really do not think Sark is the answer for UT but considering the UT mode of accepting reality and making change it isn’t going to happen quick and probably shouldn’t. BUT…I guarantee Sark will never be the Texas football coach in 2031 as contracted. No way. Just my opinion after watching this fiasco tonight.
  9. What a great day.
  10. Agree Sark does suck in the red zone, but we had the play, we had the td, just had ole sleepy at qb.
  11. But…..You have to admit he was a great 7on7 Qb with everyone in shorts.
  12. Can’t get a simple thought out of my mind after this game. Sark, just what in the hell did we do in this off season
  13. I get tired of this Sark vanilla offense week after week after week . All this slow ball keeps teams in the game and keeps young players from getting to play
  14. Our O line run blocking pretty weak so far today
  15. Please no Vince comparisons yet.
  16. I rarely post, but this thread has really caught my interest with the sincerity but diverse opinions or beliefs. Troph made an interesting statement…your soul really is just being human. In discussions like this one thing rarely mentioned is the soul. Really the belief in soul as defining who you really are separates physical man from spiritual man. Richard Rohr (Catholic Franciscan Priest) discusses this better. “When we move to the level of soul, the externals are not as defining; roles, titles, costumes, age, and race are no longer the most important questions. Soul recognizes soul, and a mentor presents their own soul unapologetically: “I am what I am, warts and all. I’ve got some faults, but I know I’ve got some gifts too.” You don’t have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body.
  17. I love being a Horn! Don’t YOU………
  18. Got to give this team all the credit and respect … and White. They came to OKC to play… got focused. Another championship series. Let’s go get it… Now need Tech-OU to play 16 innings.
  19. What a solid team performance and White called the right shots today. Got to give him credit
  20. All of us can agree that losing Vivi left a huge whole in this team’s offense and defense that we were not prepared to fill. To me though the crucial fault of this team has been the pitching staff. The longer the season progressed the mediocre pitching staff was exposed. White seemed to be sold that TK was a program solid #1. The reality is that we currently do not have a solid #1 or #2 pitcher. TK is and could be an efficient #2. We currently do not have a #1 season strong pitcher on this staff. We will continue be a better than mediocre team but not elite team until we can acquire an elite #1 pitcher. In today’s softball universe that quality pitcher is pretty rare and they can be demanding. If we want elite pitching we are going to have to pay for it. If we refuse or can’t bring the cash we will remain mediocre.
  21. I can’t answer them for you and I am not trying to. Maybe you and I do share some thoughts. 1. There are certainly wicked people in church, but also very good people (like your mom and dad and my mom and dad). 2. Yes, according to the teaching of Jesus and others. 3. I think we agree again. Sin is sin. And, don’t forget real grace, not the grace for me but no grace for you crowd. 4. Hatred is bad in any context I believe.
  22. Do you think Vic is looking at her as a pf or center? She has played both.
  23. I don’t understand why Richard Pitino isn’t getting any attention this year at all. I’ve watched how he has recruited and what he has done with New Mexico. He can flat out coach. He has taken a bottom dweller program and put them in the dance the last two years…goodbye Shaka. I’m not saying we should even consider him at Texas, but he should start being on some short lists for schools looking for a team builder.
