  1. What’s this double rice bullshit
  2. Lurch replied to Buzzrock's topic in Food and Travel
    Yep. Same technique

    Ignore
  5. They also put refried beans in the same place. Pretty sure we were doing Taco Tuesday in 1980 in Houston.
  6. Slams and goes hard. Ice cream finger food with a chew. 8.5/10
  7. I thought 0% chance they’d have that at my store in Florida (they put tortillas in the “ethnic food aisle”) but sure enough… https://www.publix.com/pd/mymochi-ice-cream-strawberry/RIO-PCI-544681 I’ll give it a try!
  8. I had to google to even see what it was … and I’m still not sure?
  9. Gotta be DC
  10. I’d have to assume commodity at this point. There’s nothing sophisticated in a base model (don’t really need slope or vibration reduction) and I’d assume even the cheapo brands do their single task well enough? That said, my bushnell is like 15 years old and behaves/looks identical to when it was brand new.
  11. You must be new here
  12. That’s incredibly fucked up. Only justification from a business standpoint is that you know you’re not winning any return customers so milk them all you can one last time.
  13. They charge you for parking now? If so, holy shit no
  14. I eagerly await the inevitable email from MGM telling me to change my MLife password and that my cc # should be replaced
  15. Break the cycle of expectations. The annual gift traditions are bullshit. Better to address it now than wish you had 10 years from now.
  16. Nothing, we still gotta lot of games to win. We still going to roll, though
  17. I don’t know what to do with my hands
  18. I could have caught that and have some eligibility left, coach
  19. Keyword search is now out. Kill/restart app to see it. Searching for “longhorns” introduced me to a few new follows that didn’t have that In their name/description, ie thedailytexan
  20. Link to app?
  21. I actually stopped watching him because it bugs me so much, but another in the group last weekend later told me he counted TWENTY SEVEN waggles before one of his tee shots
  22. What’s your move when a regular in your group develops a freeze over the ball while struggling to get their swing back and now, routinely, takes an excessively long time to pull the trigger? I only see him immediately before our weekly round and don’t want to get in his head pre round or during it. I’m thinking I need to bring it up immediately post-round this weekend. Another regular took a video a few weeks back and sent it to him “to help evaluate his swing” but he completely missed the point and his only takeaway was that he was over swinging. Face palm.
  23. Same intent in both situations? For me, scramble drive is necessarily different than an own-ball drive. In scramble, I'm either swinging out of my shoes "because we already have a ball in play, so no risk" or I'm being super conservative "because we need to get a ball in play, even if short". An own-ball drive for me is typically somewhere between the two.
