Did āThe Bearā food tour with my kid on Friday - would recommend. - Mr. Beef - Urban Belly - Carmelized Chicken Dumplings (different spot I believe) - Pizza Lobo - Donuts from Roeserās Bakery - Sundaes from Margieās Candies (holy shit) - A beer at Green Door Tavern to end
Ever since Iāve made the post about Chappell Roan - Sabrina Carpenter has taken over the house. Espresso and Please, Please, please are great. Videos make them better.
In college (90s), I paid my dues in the kitchen for a year before being a bartender for the remainder of school (those were amazing years) - I got my ass kicked every shift in that POS kitchen but we had a blast and I made the best friends of my life. Wouldnāt trade it for anything. Requirement in my family for the kids to work in a restaurant at some point before they get out of school - no better preparation for life imo.
Listing a Cheers character over Diane is criminal. Shelley Long was incredible in that role (admitting Kirstie Alley is one of the best casting decisions in TV history). Also give me Michael Scott and (edit: going with Niles).
So much of this didnāt make any sense and the ending was shite. I guess thatās why this wasnāt a bigger deal. Watching all that footage to put this together must have been a BEATING. Knowing Mickey wasnāt going to die sucked.
Itās all great television until the end imo. Enjoy the journey. Trying to think of a great roadtrip example where the actual roadtrip is amazing but then you end up in Detroit or College Station or something.
Ok so this is definitely a show that gets better on multiple viewings. Went from mildly amusing to one the funniest fān things Iāve seen in forever.
Thought it was awesome. Damn close to Fury Road for me. ATJ is so badass in this. Perfect for the role. As far as it dragging, I had the opposite reaction. Even though it is long af, some scenes felt rushed and it took away from the drama.
No mention of Tires yet? Gillis is just standing around being himself but it works for me. Nothing ground breaking but an easy watch and I laughed several times. The Will character kills it.
Iām glad Iām not the only one that has seen this. First 2 episodes were great. Who in their right mind would agree to do this? Yes, it seems something ominous does happen. Itās crazy that they arenāt all dead.
One of the great documentary moments ever. Enjoying Season 2 so far. Just an absolute ape shit crazy story. IMO - the peak of true crime docs along with The Staircase and Thin Blue Line.
Get on that Chappell Roan. Entire album is catchy. My all time girly pop song I crank is I āThink Weāre Alone Nowā. āSee You Againā āSince You Been Goneā
Split is great. The Visit! Forgot about that. Kind of a modern day Hansel and Gretel. Seems people either love it or hate it but Iām a big fan. My kids liked it so much they bought the blu-ray for me for Christmas a few years back.
