  1. So all Miller had to do was call em’ out?…..OK….
  2. Texas 66- undefeated Vanderbilt 57 w/ 8min to go
  3. Boy, that seems like a mistake
  4. Unless your all in and shooting for the moon
  5. Well……since you asked, I’d rather spend $3M on Seaton AND $3M on (2) guards and a swing tackle should those opportunities present themselves
  6. 30-6 and the offense didn’t do shit. Defense is as advertised folks. Good enough to replicate 2015 Broncos?…..remains to be seen
  7. You’re not wrong, but depth, quality, and competition could certainly be improved through additional portal additions.
  8. It’s definitely good news, but still needs some work in the O-line room
  9. How about this: I don’t give a shit what they paid. I just care that they got them
  10. Okie Lite is the new North Texas
  11. Yep, that’s pretty much the situation. Some/many won’t like this new era. Remains to be seen if that collective dislike will be detrimental to the sport/lead to changes. For emphasis, high school recruiting inevitably takes a backseat to the portal in this environment unless you can identify “immediate contributors” among incoming freshmen
  12. I’m “all in” for tampering w/ some portal linemen that already committed elsewhere
  13. Getting it done at the skill positions. Now they need some beef
  14. OL is in dire need of a blowjob
  15. There’s been a narrative around here for a decade plus that Texas high schools are not producing the best offensive linemen, and that the position gets better results recruited from elsewhere. I know people debate that point, but Texas sure struggled at the position between 2007 and 2023 which would seem to add fuel to such speculation. Perhaps that’s the problem w/ the Stroh data point
  16. Appreciate the feedback. In regards to people questioning Aggie OL portal acquisitions, Aggies have added the #6, #38, & #42 offensive linemen from the portal (247 Sports Portal Rankings). Now I don’t know what that means in terms of quality, but I have my doubts that this equates to conclusive mediocrity. What we all know for certain is, as of this moment, UT’s had more out than in at the position. We also know historically the current staff have preferred to attack the position out of high school and not the portal. And finally, we know that this approach did not produce results last season, even w/ the later season improvements along the line
  17. Aggies have added (4) SEC offensive linemen in the portal. Texas has added (1) OL from Oregon State. Appreciate some of the recent portal additions, but this is a f’ing problem
  18. Golden into the endzone for the Packers (1st pro TD)
  19. DEF Portal game > OFF portal game. Muschamp effect
