The windows are Kolbe and are built into wooden siding. The material is tough to assess and may be their proprietary stuff. The downstairs window hadn’t leaked until we got CRAZY rain and seems to be a function of traditional run off streams getting overwhelmed and water streaming into abnormal outflows. My duct tape seems to have helped until we can get a pro here. The upstairs window is collecting / pooling at the bottom left (when looking out) but at a very slow rate. Any guidance or recs are hugely appreciated.
Beyond avoiding Window World and Andersen Renewal, anyone have recent experience with repair and/or replacement in Austin? We’ve been in the house less than than a year and understand the upstairs windows are from 2016 but with the torrential monsoons last week found leaks in two. We need some immediate fixes plus some new windows down stairs. Water leaks and damage are such a nut kick.
Dude, you seem like a nice enough guy, but scroll up for fucks sake and quit moving your goal posts. You said no big shows until 2022 and gave lengthy reasons why. You were wrong and that’s good because life is returning to normal.

Wait, Thunderlounge already gave us the same info - over and over - that it didn’t matter what the largest touring bands in the world say, these announcements mean nothing...
Well first off, don’t be cunty, you don’t HAVE to give a shit and i’ve yet to accept your omnipotent’ish vibe. You seem to have above average insight into the industry, but that’s it. What would a band like DMB who can sell out pre covid have to lose by putting concert dates out now?
stalling...what are you talking about? they are literally one of the earliest bands to commit to big shows starting in July. you seem to know about the touring industry which makes your negative outlook bombs hard to understand. outside of states overruling their plans, how can public announcements with date commitments equal his management stalling?
i grew up skiing in vermont. both parents went to school there. my dads band used to play at the red barn by stowe which is still there. if you hit the right snow then killington is awesome, otherwise you learn the gnarly skill of ice skiing which makes you better one way or another.
Not a fan, but positive big crowd traction as Dave Matthew’s Band canceled / rescheduled some early summer shows and committed to a tour starting in July.
taking a hard look at winter park next weekend for some final runs. i see they just got dumped on and the apps show promising late spring conditions...anyone have first hand knowledge ?
