  1. Interesting. That's true. State is discrediting sudden passion and defense objects since he never mentioned it. Overuled because it was mentioned in the documents.
  2. Defense had nothing bombshell.. of course. State has 11 more minutes.
  3. Sidebar... attorneys laughing. Lunch break Back in session at 1:30
  4. It's a nice story of helping a crackhead but.. did she help her get into the program or anything? If all she did was give her a ticket instead of arresting her, well.. it's something but. not much.
  5. Don't kill anyone... that's not gonna look good to the jury...
  6. There ya go... Brenda Sales, her best friend, just said sorry to the family for her.
  7. As the former judge said on commentary, it would likely be a HORRIBLE idea. The state will rip her apart no matter what for the texts and social media stuff. No apology will make up for the damage they would do to her on the stand again.
  8. oooh state is crossing Macpherson. sidebar after an objection. after discussing text messages the squad group would send to each other.
  9. That guy is SWAT? doesn't look very intimating.
  10. Yea... really not sure why they brought her on the stand, the detective. got nothing from that.
  11. Wonder how many cops they will call. here is #2.
  12. The black friend, Kathy Odhiambo, worked together at tgi fridays at airport. known her for 10 years. Went to same high school and college (uta). Never worked together as police officers. but kept being friends. "So caring, selfless thinks about everyone before herself" Amber is the sweetest person. She ran into the middle of 161 to get a changing table (that had blown off her car) for her pregnant black friend.
  13. Sister didn't say much. aunt didn't say much... Here we go.. the black police officer friend.
  14. Amber's mom on the stand. I was wrong and corrected below. Thanks
  15. Possibility defense might go for making it a crime of sudden passion, knocks down to 2nd degree felony and 2-20.
  16. Official in jail. https://www.dallascounty.org/jaillookup/search.jsp 19048141 Record Detail Name GUYGER, AMBER Race White Sex Female DOB 1988-08-09 Jail Location North Tower Tank Location NGSC20 Bookin Number 19048141 Bookin Date 2019-10-01 04:43 PM
  17. Exactly... that's what I thought sounded worse. Anyone is going to want to know what she was lying about. and she just admitted all the text messages. some with her lover sounds like.
  18. Evidently there are some additional text messages that weren't in the trial she is reading and debating over now. Lot's of head shaking..
  19. Annnddd now they bring up the social media (pinterest) posts.... wtf. guessing jury isnt in yet. And the judge allows them .
  20. Objections overruled. Gonna be able to talk about her denied Fort worth PD application and 3 times she smoked pot in her life. Jury's coming in
