This might be the most loaded OOC schedule I have ever seen. Networks should have fun with this. Great thing is it's in week 2 so they cant spread it out to Sunday and Monday Night.
Appetizers
Tennessee @ Oklahoma
Auburn vs North Carolina (Atlanta)
Penn St @ Virginia Tech

In addition the P12 and ACC will be having some conference match-ups this weekend.
Final Regular Season TV Ratings. Not counting Championship Weekend.
Few things that jump out.. The obvious of UT and OU will always drive the viewers. Winning Trumps all
FOX has become THE spot for Marquee B12 matchups.
FOX has also become a major player nationally. They have 2 of the top 4 and 3 of the top 7 games this season. ABC seemed to not have many big primetime games at night and it showed in the #'s

Yes, It wont be the typical wine and cheese crowd. It's going to be fans that have probably grown up on UT but never went to school there so rarely have been to a game. They will be loud and drunk. Haters like to call them T shirt fans. I call them Die hard fans.
Great Season Guys.. Congrats to the winners
1st Texas Gary $280
2nd Wagon Wheels $140
3rd PhillyD $40
I have Wagon Wheels contact info... Please DM me your paypal info. I'm still collecting funds from a few stragglers that i personally know and had one guy go MIA but he stopped making selections after a couple weeks. Once I collect all the remaining entrants i will send out the winnings. Should be no later than early next week. Thanks again and look forward to next year.
Thinking about doing confidence points. What yall's opinions on that? I think it gives people who fall behind early a better chance to play catch up late.
Coached in League Ball this Fall and went Unbeaten but had a pretty stacked team. It was our first year in Coach Pitch.. I get to bring back 3 from that team.. Question is what do you guys feel is the single most important thing at that age level? As long as a kid makes decent contact I'm a believer that speed trumps all. Curious yall's thoughts and also what positions do you play your top 3 kids?
Lets say that happens..
Conf Champ UGA IN
Conf Champ Clemson IN
Conf Champ Ohio St IN
I would have Zero issue rewarding Utah or Ou/Baylor winner over LSU
1 Common opponent was UT. Ou and Baylor both won more convincingly than LSU did.
"Baylor could never run the gauntlet LSU did" Strictly opinion and we will never know.
But But LSU beat Bama.... Cool and Bamas best wins all year are over Tennesse/ATM.
Earn your way in or don't complain. Last year we heard how Uhhh Mayyy zing UGA was...They deserved to be in Final 4. Based on what? They play in the SEC and beat up a bunch of cupcakes and played Bama "close".
IT happens every year in NCAA tourney.. team wins conf tourney and get a chance in the big dance. It's sports. You guys are treating this like its a math problem.
You know what guarantees you a spot in the NFL playoffs? Win your division. Plenty of WC teams have gone on to win the SB also. Every team that makes the NFL playoffs earn it either way.
CFP is such a joke because every team is selected based on the "opinions" of people and money driven. Lets say Ou, Clemson, UGA, Utah and Ohio St all finish with 1 loss and conference champs. WE are still allowing the opinions of others to determine the National champion just as we have done the last 150 years.
They need the simple criteria of win your conf or your not eligible. Put all 5 power 5 teams in. Then let a committee decide the final 3 At large teams in case of the fluke upsets in CCG and rank the 8. Nobody has a serious gripe in that scenario.
Im so confused on the rules of the first leg...I thought i heard bags can not be carried by people. They must be on the bamboo.
Maybe i heard that wrong.
Regardless the format is basically rewarding a shitty team all season. Less is better. Also in the past the womens weight(bags) were always less. US team is at such a huge disadvantage. If team US had just stayed a "team" the US would have like 200LBS and would have made it impossible to carry. I dont care if you have 12 guys like CT rotating and trying to carry that the weight alone would be extremely difficult.
Terrible Terrible by MTV. You can't expect these girls to carry the same weight as Guys like Leroy and Zach.
On the preview it already said only top 4 from each team advance.
Terrible season.
Simple way to quit the tanking etc. All competitions are individual. Worst girl and guy are automatically in and choose opponent. Winner safe the next week.
I found a list...Not a lot of 5A D1 schools to choose from in Houston area. Lots of teams from last year dropped to D2.
All 3 Baytown schools are now 5A D1
If your referring to Philyor they have not said. "Concussion protocol last i heard" . They have an explosive offense and have been in every game all year with the exception of Ohio St. SU upset would not surprise me.
Odds are we finish 7-5. Same for ATM.
Lets hope they don’t avoid us and we push there shit in. Need something to salvage this mess of a season.
Am I the only one that wants this?
