Craps for beginners:
I played in Shreveport Saturday night on a $10 table. I started out with HG method just betting the inside 3 numbers closest to the point. The table started getting hot, so I added in a $10 passline bet with $20-$25 odds. I ended up walking away up $500 after a 2 hour session.

This. I live nearby. It's good for happy hour and a good beer selection. The burnt ends make for a good snack. Other than that, it's not that spectacular. Before the rebranding, all beers were $3 at happy hour and on Sundays dieing NFL games.

Not to mention Norwegian prostitutes and leaving price tags on your coats. Or turning down your neighbor that brought over a bottle of wine.- Texas Sex Offender - 1 mile count
15 near me. Looks like I've got a couple of pimps nearby along with a 27 year old female that exposed herself to a 16 year old female.- ESPN finally getting its shit together- no more politics
This. I remember watching all day marathons of worlds strongest man or lumberjack competitions. Trick shot billiards was awesome to watch too.- I'm An Alcoholic
I can see this. I've honestly felt the same. I'm 55 days in and haven'g been to a meeting, although I am seeing a therapist weekly along with a Psychiatrist on a monthly basis now. I attended several meetings before in previous attempts to quit or while still drinking and kept telling myself, "I'm not one of them, I'll prove them wrong." Most times that I went to a meeting, I went straight for a drink afterwards.- Great and horrible tv series finales
Great: Breaking Bad (loved the show start the finish. I have re-watched a couple of times too) The Office Sons of Anarchy 2005 Season Disappointments: Last Man on Earth (they didn't get a chance for a proper ending) Sopranos Lost- Best Breakfast Food
Fast Food: Sausage Egg Cheese on Jalapeno Cheddar from Whataburger Chicken Biscuit from Chic Fil A Home Cooked: A scramble of cubed potatoes, onions, japs, sausage, bacon, ham. All topped with salsa. Can be eaten on a plate or wrapped in a good tortilla Classic plate of thick cut bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, homemade biscuits topped with gravy.- Your unpopular food opinions
I mean that's an exception.- Wives and the Stupid Shit They Say/Do
My aunt and uncle had 2 kids, she got her tubes tied. A few years later, they had baby number 3 and 4. He got snipped..a few years later..baby number 5, and yes was his.- Comedy
http://youtu.be/buH4WenTmUA I've recently discovered Brad Williams (Sorry/not sorry if video link isn't right) and find him to be quite funny. Dave Chapelle is on a whole another level to me as well. If you watch interviews with him he is always just off the cuff funny and doesn't insert jokes from his act into interviews like I see other comedians do. On a related note, I've been reading "Sick in the Head" by Judd Apatow. It's a collection of interviews that dates back to the mid 80's with comedians he's met and worked with. He started doing these interviews as a teenager working for his high school radio station. Some of these interviews of note include Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno back when they were first getting to be known. I found it interesting that Jay Leno has never done an HBO/Comedy Central type "special", and Seinfeld has only done one during his career. Both said they do that so they don't have to change their act up too much, where as those that doe frequent "specials" have to constantly update their acts so audiences aren't always hearing the same jokes. I've personally always loved Eddie Murphy's stand up, and find his stuff re-watchable. Chris rock mentioned in the book that Eddie hosts fight nights at his house pretty often and you'll see a who's who of comedians there and Eddie is always the funniest guy in the room no matter what. Chris said he's asked Eddie about returning to the stage and he say's he'll never do it, the only thing that would bring him back out is financial ruin.- Your unpopular food opinions
I don't like cherries or anything cherry flavored like red starburst, red skittles, etc.- Car for kid
This. I had an older A4 for a bit, which is basically the same as a Jetta. Constantly having issues, especially with the vacuum system. It consisted of a ton of plastic parts that were constantly leaking/breaking. Was a pain in the ass to do any kind of work on that car myself.- Turnpike Troubadours appreciation thread
Wow, that was hard to watch. Hope he finds his way soon.- Dallas | BBQ
Thanks. I was hoping that was the case. I haven't been able to make it over during the week in a while. It was much easier when I worked in Addison.- Cowboy Boots
Not a dick at all. I knew from experience I would get 2-3 years at most out of them. I just haven't invested in a better quality pair yet.- Cowboy Boots
I had some of these. They were comfortable, but wore out after 2 years. I tend to wear mine quite a a bit (2-3) times a week. My heels wore down on the edges pretty quickly, and a whole eventually wore in the bottom. My next pair, I'm going to try some heel taps/plates to see if that helps prevent from wearing so quickly.- Dallas | BBQ
This may have been asked before, but does Cattleack have the full menu when they do the Saturday cooks? I"m going to assume so, but doesn't hurt to ask.- All things SNL
Thought it was a pretty solid episode. I haven't really watched in a while, but tuned in for the nostalgia of Sandler. Definitely loved him doing the Farley song. Side Note: How often does SNL recycle skits? I know they do, but I remember watching the other night that I had seen the "Last Call" skit before. I looked it up on youtube and found about 8 different versions of it and each one had almost the exact same script with a few slight changes.- Texas BBQ
That's awesome. I always thought they seemed like good people when I'd eat there. I worked in an office across the street from there for Mother Francis and would have a brother in law at least once a week. Damn, I miss that place.- Blue Bell's new Cookie Cake flavor
Is it open? Seriously, I've demolished a half gallon of this already. There has to be crazy in there and hopefully not listeria. - Post a pic that makes you lol
