All I did was intentionally mischaracterize your statement, attribute it to you as a direct quotation, and then use it as a straw man to advance my own agenda. What's wrong with that?
I think the clear takeaway is that we live in world where, if people disagree with you on something, you don't like them and they're dangerous. If they agree with you on something, they are right about everything, and their detractors are cancel culture acolytes.
They draw listeners because they're just conversations. Nobody has conversations anymore. It's all agenda, and political, and obnoxious, and postured, and totally curated bullshit. People don't want that anymore.
You think his anti-Semitic comments show he's a political grifter? I think they were just stupid. The kind of thing a bro from Boston would say about Jews liking money.
Rogan is a mediocre standup and actor who met a lot of interesting and funny people in his career and then started a podcast. He started with his friends and built from there, but the main thing he does is just listen and have conversations with people. All the crying about how harmful he is or whatever is nonsense. He's just a dude who talks to people (though his recent comments about Jews could use a little brush back).
I really like Segura's standup and I think he is a very good interviewer. I enjoyed several of his Tom Talks podcasts.
Absurd.
The first Rocky is a masterpiece. It's one of the best movies ever made. The sequels have their strong and weak points, but Rocky is phenomenal.
An important caveat is that if the above is correct (I AM NOT A TEXAS LAWYER SO DO NOT KNOW), if he moves some states look at the charge and apply their own state law about what would have happened in that state under those facts. Which could make him disqualified.
He needs to consult with an attorney. If he's disqualified because of his criminal history (whatever it is), he cannot possess firearms either and could be in trouble.
I do that and also put all the kids to work. In addition to cleaning and laundry, we change lightbulbs, replace toilet seats, eat really good meals, do yard work, and also try to do at least one project my wife has mentioned in passing ("hey just FYI the kids and I got your car detailed and built a firepit.")
I don't care about sexy time - I just want her to know that we do not need her.
