  1. Bro- it’s 2025, almost’26. We’re win the 21st Century. In the age of “6-7” (yeah, I still have a teenager in the house), 79 is the new 69 (Hey now!) I’m in my late 50’s. I hope and pray I have more than another 20yrs on this rock. IF, I can keep up my quality of life/ which I get is “kind of” up to me. This goes back to my original point/post- If I was a multimillionaire, my quality of life would be very much focused on my health. (Again, this is just for me. I get that others have underlying issues, priorities)
  2. Hey, I got busy. Unlike a great majority of your malcontented degenerates (said with all love possible), some of us others work for a living. I stand by my comments- and with that, I’m going to have a bowl of oatmeal and get my ass to the gym! 😉👊🏻
  3. that do be true…(sigh)
  4. *too 😉 (Just keeping is “surly”)
  5. Damn. He was only 79?? I’m sorry he’s passed, but I will never understand how people who have seemingly unlimited resources don’t spend more of said resources on their health. Be it physical, (nutrition/training), mentally (psychological/ Life Coach). I get that genetics are a huge factor in one’s health. I guess it was that? I didn’t see where he was sick. Condolences to his family.

Hell, no. We owe them a beating.

I’d have much rather he sat his Aussie ass on the bench all day(No offense, Mikey!). But yeah, when he was call upon, he certainly delivered.
  8. This was so good. I was never lucky enough to have seen Zeppelin in concert. I saw Plant about 30yrs ago, but I’m 100% sure his band did NOT play “Stairway”. My question for the musicians/historians here- Did JPJ play both keyboards and bass when they played “Stairway” live? Does anyone know?
  9. @immamac Can we please pin this to the top of the page/site? I’ve only read the first page of the thread and I’m already confused.😅 I’ve a feeling that I’m definitely going to need to revisit this thread later this season and won’t feel like spending a hour looking for it. Many thanks 🙏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🫶🏻

Exactly. And should Nike choose to go down this path, I’ll take the Brand with a $55+B valuation over the competing Brand with a $28+B valuation. I mean, I get it- Adi is “having a moment” as we say in the industry. They’ve been on a roll for the last 20-24mo’s. Either one of Samba, Gazelle, Spezial and Campus are on damn near every white suburban Girl in America. And now if you walk through the Mall (yuck), you’ll see the SuperStar plastered all over FLocker/Champs, JD/Finish Line, Shoe Palace and Journeys’ windows. Hell, even at a few select Famous Footwear - Bjorn (Gulden, Global president) & John Miller (US Pres.) aren’t screwing around. They see an opportunity and are going for it- however, have no fear- Once the street- meaning the “real” Streets (NYC/Balt/DC/HTown, Chi-town/East StL, etc etc) all get tired of folk the Suburban Kids, they’ll break off again and jump back on the Swoosh. It’s the cycle. It’s been going this way for the last 50yrs.
  11. It’s a step above a Taint Reynolds.

https://sgbonline.com/adidas-to-replace-nike-as-univ-of-tennessee-sponsor/ I wonder if CDC and The University have hit up Nike for NIL support across the (real) UT landscape. I see athletes with NIL deals from Vuori (Arch) and Lululemon, but not Nike…unless I’ve missed something…
  13. Well, only the toe cap, eye row (where you lace the shoe) and the heel counter are suede. The base of the shoe is nylon. However, your point stands. You could try a rain & stain repellent. I typically use the UGG repellent my wife and daughters buy AND NEVER USE, for their eleventy-billion pairs of UGG’s we own.🙄 but beware- a rain & stain COULD darken the suede- Which in this case might help it get closer to a “true Burnt Orange”, maybe??
  14. This particular Cortez is “Monarch”. Nike calls burnt orange, “desert orange”. Pantone is very similar.

Yep. Their business is not goo.
