Game #12 P.B. - #6 Texas @ Texas Tech, 8pm, ESPN (Tech's Second Super Bowl of the week)
That was pathetic. A 2-10 team just outplayed them.

Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
Yup. They’re scared shitless. And they’re also coming to the realization that they don’t wield ANY level of authority in the sec. They may not say it, but they KNOW it.

Siouxsie Sioux
Pretty sure I saw Siouxie Sioux and her band mates open for U2 in the ‘90’s… I can’t remember if it was Achtung Baby, Zoo TV or POP Tour… dang I’m getting old…😅

Left Behind: A Quick Dose Of Post Big 12 Reality
Exactly, this. There is NO way Yormark lets Texas win the conference. Like none. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nil.

RIP Burt Bacharach
First off, yet again, the big names keep “coming off the board” of my lifetime. Mortality is real. RIP, Mr.Bacharach. Second, I’ve not read through the entire “Greatest American Songwriter” thread, but he’s got to me mentioned; no?

Does Spotify even try?
Agreed. KXT is pretty good And I do listen on KUTX when we’re in town for games. I guess I just wish I was in college again…LOL and I didn’t even got to UT.

Does Spotify even try?
Thanks. Unfortunately, I don’t live in Austin. I’m in the DFW-area where radio flat out sucks. It’s the only thing keeping me subscribed to Sirius XM.

F cancer.
I‘m sorry that you and your families had to go through this. I’m also sorry that your Dad had to endure the hell he went through. But I’m thankful that his pain is gone. I don’t know you from Adam, but I read the thread. Your Dad and your Mom raised a man who is loving, caring and just an overall good person. They should be proud, and I’m sure they are. My prayer is that the Lord wrap your family in His arms and let you feel His Peace. The pain is gone. Your Dad is dancing in Heaven and just waiting for the day he dances again with your Mom.

Does Spotify even try?
If I may…I’m growing tired of Sirius XM. Has anyone done an analysis on Spotify vs Amazon Music vs Apple Music? Are there advantages of one over the other? TIA.

Concerts you are attending
My lovely wife has been hounding me about being more “intentional” in my parenting of our 14yo daughter. So, I’m taking her to see Harry Styles in Palm Springs this week. Prayers are appreciated. 😂

Van Halen Appreciation thread
Although, I only got to see “Van Hagar” (🙄), this is exactly how I feel. I got burned out on “5150” and had moved on to more alternative stuff in the late-80’s/early 90’s…

Van Halen Appreciation thread
I WANT and NEED to do more of this. Problem is, I’m typically busy with kids-> Case in point, I had to forego PJ in OKC for our youngest’s Vball event back in September- So my next opportunity to see them is…???? More to the point, my next concert is in two weeks in Palm Springs with that same daughter. We live in DFW-area. I travel to OKC, Tulsa, Shreveport/Bossier, Monroe and up into AR for biz. Would appreciate any/all advice on which venues/clubs to catch GOOD music, to chill and have a beer… Good stuff! 👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🤘🏻
