2023 Bum Steer of the Year
That is some rather scathing commentary. When Texas Monthly shits in its own back yard and gives the stiff middle finger to Austin, that's how you know that shit is, indeed, quite fucked up.

Chili w/o beans
For some mild thickening help, along with subtle flavor, I toss my meat (I use hand-cubed Beef Shoulder and Pork Shoulder) in Corn Meal before frying it in small batches. I also use Corn Oil. Just my $0.02...

Eyesight poll
Thanks to the lovely Dr. Katherine Johns, I've been wearing my sclerals for a month now. Took my left eye from 20/600 to 20/30. After 27 years of keratoconus in that eye, it is good to see fully again. For that, I am grateful.

Mystery Books
Another series highly recommended are the Matthew Scudder novels by Lawrence Block. They begin with The Sins Of The Fathers.

Mystery Books
Connollyās Charlie Parker books are an all-time favorite. Begins with Every Dead Thing. Bill Pronziniās Nameless Detective is another. Starts with The Snatch. John D. MacDonaldās Travis McGee novels as well. Begins with The Deep Blue Good-Bye. All 3 series completely different from the other. Hopefully, youāll find something you like.

Cocktails were great, service was great, seafood was great. Been there 3 separate times and never had a bad time. Shit happens, though.

You probably got more than what you wanted...but for date night with your girl, I'm gonna say Nonna, Ostra, or Otro / Domingo. Good panty-dropping places...ha!

San Antonio
Iām gonna assume youāre flying solo. Weather depending, head to either Esquire or Otro balcony bar (why not bith?). Have drinks. Admire scenery. Evaluate targets. Have food at either, or get a serious meal at Domingo. Relocate to Ostra. More drinks, scenery, targets, and possible munchies again. Slightly staggering to Waxy OāConnors at this point. Repeat full protocol as necessary. Munchies and drinks at Boudroās at this point, if youāre sober enough. Before you crawl into the Menger, pop into Pat OāBriens. Repeat full protocol. Ask for Lin. Sheās fun. If youāre an absolute glutton for punishment and wanna run previous protocols once more, end up at Durty Nellyās, but bewareā¦you have overshot your hotel at this point. Where you sleep at this point is completely unknown. Have fun!

If heās walking that way, I would say Domingo instead. On your own? Or with a chick?

loveSac sectional is it worth it ?
I had the same problem with my Polywood patio furniture. 18 boxes and 600# total. Iām a handy guy, but it still took 10 hours of labor and beer drinking to unpack, assemble, break down, and dispose. Was quite vexing.
