Call one of the funeral homes that service the cemetery where his plot is. They will gladly assist you in the pre-planning and it should be a mostly one-stop-shopping experience.
Your expenses will be:
Graveside service package (may or may not include flowers). They take care of transport arrangements, SS Administration and Death Certificates (order 10 or so)
Casket
Flowers (if not included in service package)
Clergy
Headstone engraving (and purchase if not already bought).
Fairly simple if you boil it down, but also a pain in the ass if done at the wrong time.
Hope that’s a start for ya....
We just went to VOIP on Verizon one talk (they suck) and my previous number was owned by a lady named tamika, and she apparently didn't pay bills and loved to party with numerous guys. The texts and voice-mails are less than 6 months ago but still the occasional.
I've had my number for 8 years, and I still get calls for the deadbeat bitch that (evidently) owes everyone money. I like to fuck with them when they call...
Feeling right as rain this morning!
Got Moderna'd on Thursday afternoon. Arm was fine, but ached all over on Friday. Every single joint hurt, and I felt like hell by Friday afternoon. This morning, it's like it never happened.
Home-based out of Rockland years ago. Enjoyed the town and the locals.
Spent a lot of time in the car, exploring everywhere between Rockport and Booth Bay Harbor. Lots of hiking. Lot of lighthouse finding. Stuffing ourselves with lobster everywhere.
Highlights were:
Climbing Mount Battie
Owl’s Head
Hanging with the Pie Ladies at Berry Manor Inn
Spending a day on Monhegan Island (highly recommended).
Bottom line: Mid-coast Maine is a friendly and mellow place to visit.
I would welcome an old or obvious recommendation for brunch, if you’re willing and/or able. Gonna be at The Westin downtown and very rarely make it out for breakfast when in town. Wouldn’t mind tackling a kickass brunch date with the wife (no pics) on an upcoming trip.
