  1. Leach just ignores him. I get the sense this isn't a rarity for his postgames.

  3. So much will depend on what tv deals get projected out as next decade. Early signing a fox contract right before the tier two rights market shot up due to the BTN really hurt the Big 12 with the 2007 Fox deal. If that is negotiated even a year later we may never have lost a single school as financial incentives would have been dramatically reduced. Big 12 went from fair pay to barely paid overnight. Tier one deal was still market though.
  4. Goff played that up perfectly

The idea is to get the sport a foothold in the largest English speaking city that currently doesn't follow the sport. A city of 10.3 million people and surrounding areas as well that may get tv interest eventually is a big long term target. It's a city that is roughly only 3 million behind Canada's largest province and has very low exposure currently. Where else can they expand their audience? Mexico has tons of issues to adapt to, Canada isn't all that lucrative and they already get some bleedover interest due to how close most of their population is to the USA and their familiarity with the sport. Where else is a long term expansion outside the USA that makes any sense? The US is effectively saturated for NFL interest.

Surprised he didn't get drafted. He was a very capable player with the athleticism to potentially translate it to the NFL.
