  1. It's wearing off now, but when I saw that fat man keel over and die, Michael, I realized that we don't have a lot of time on this earth. We weren't meant to spend it this way. Human beings weren't meant to sit in little cubicles, starring at computer screens all day, filling out useless forms and listening to eight different bosses drone on about mission statements.
  2. They said they were sending over an Asian woman!
  3. We’re not starting before 9 are we?
  4. Anybody tailgate or seen any tailgate going on this year? The football game day guide last year and for the spring game specifically says no tailgating and I know DPS was monitoring the state lots at least in the beginning. But the baseball game day website doesn't mention tailgating at all. I've only been to one Tuesday game and know the left field crew is out there but not sure if they go full tailgate on the weekends or not. The group on top of the trailer past right field are out and about as well. We plan to use one of the lots off Comal for the Tech game May 1st. I think it will be fine but one of my buddies is paranoid.
  5. LHN has been awesome for baseball this year. The 2 guys with names on the stadium is really all you need! Who could have predicted that...
  6. But pretty good flick. Thought Mulligan was good going from obsessed, and depressed to fun, cute, falling in love. I predicted how that would end but wasn't sure how.
  7. 30x20 isn't that small. 9500 gallons doesn't compute for that size. At 4' average depth, it's twice that in gallons unless there's a really large tanning shelf or something. But yes, pools are expensive these days. Mine was under $90k but smaller than yours with some concrete decking being one of the cheaper components. I have Oklahoma flagstone coping and only 4 months in so can't say how the salt is affecting it. I sealed it best I could though so that should help.
  8. Right, but the cap should be 10% and mine is capped at 13%. I'm guessing my pool allows them to go above 10% but not sure the rules/formula for it.
  9. Put in a pool last year. I have a HS cap but it's not at 10%, more like 13%. If you've made an improvement, how does the HS cap work? Can they raise accessed 10% plus some amount of the improvement? Appraised value is about 20% increase.
  10. It would work. Just add the avatar and you're all set.
  11. @Landomatic knows a guy that can get it done real quick! Seriously though, it's all about what you want out of the pool and how you plan to use it. My spa is 7' round. 8x8 is pretty much a large hot tub size so definitely would heat fairly quickly. I'd personally want a little more room to splash around or float in.
  12. This was my thinking as well. Is nobody from NASCAR willing to do it? And even though I've had my shots, I'd still be interested in said tits.
  13. Signed up for mlbtv today but can't get it working in Austin. Anybody using mlbtv stream tonight? Used yondertv last year to bypass blackouts to perfection, but banging my head for almost 2 hours now.
  14. Right, I just got naked for both of mine.
  15. This is also goes back to the power outages and City of Austin cut power to NXP, Samsung, and others and taking weeks/months to get the factories back up and running.
  16. Brisket and pulled lamb were great. Sausage was not very good but oh, well. Good way to start off Easter.
  17. You can get in, just can’t heat it up for two weeks.
  18. Yes but it’s Rodney Scott.
  19. I'm pretty sure dcbc knew that. I was obviously going for a "username/avatar checks out" reaction.
  20. George doesn't want to push 2 round tables together.
  21. I was ready to reply...and wait for it to freeze and die but you beat me to it. We weren't as far along as you but we lost our attempt at privacy hedge. HOA doesn't allow a high fence so I had a lattice built with about 1/2" spacing between the slats. Can't really see shit through it, but it's a "lattice".
  22. One time I went to the movies with my wife's friend. I was wearing these pants that would kind of bunch up about 5 inches when I set down looking like I had an erection. Before the movie I got in an argument with this lady that turned out to be my best friend's new girlfriend. When my wife's friend sat down next to me should put her hand on me to console me about this frustrating situation. Then she looks down and sees my pants and thinks she somehow aroused me because of those damn pants!
  23. We both got ours yesterday morning and wife started getting fever and aches right before bed. She's still down for the count now and I've got pretty much nothing. Is my vaccine and/or body not working correctly?
  24. Moderna #2 this morning. Getting several beers in hoping to sleep through the side effects.
