  1. You did this already.
  2. Good idea to remind the football crowd that we have a basketball team... The 2019-20 Texas Basketball seasons are only a few weeks away. This Saturday, both the men's and women's teams take over Bevo Blvd. presented by H-E-B for a one-of-a-kind Texas Basketball experience prior to Texas Football's game with Kansas at 6 p.m. (presented by Equipment Depot). Fans can look forward to meeting the Men's and Women's Basketball teams while participating in interactive games, including Big Shot Basketball, Revolution Hoops, Vertical Jump, Perfect Pass, and Measure Up with Hook 'Em! Fans can also take photos at the Texas Basketball GIF station that will be sent directly to their phones. The 'All For Texas Basketball Experience,' located in front of the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center along San Jacinto Blvd, begins at 1 p.m. The Men's Basketball team is scheduled to arrive at 3 p.m., and Women's Basketball is set to join the party at 3:45 p.m. This is your first opportunity to get the official 2019-20 Texas Basketball posters. Athletes from both teams will distribute player trading cards while supplies last. 'All For Texas' scratch-off game cards are also available for fans to win great Texas Basketball prizes including season tickets, mini plans, and more!
  3. A little grainy from a bit far away but the new iPhone camera did okay...
  4. The show was awesome. Absolutely shredded.
  5. Will you be there by morning?
  6. Soft pretzels, Jäger schnitzel, german taters and beans.
  7. Agree. Having a glass now.
  8. PBS app or online here: https://www.pbs.org/kenburns/country-music/
  9. I've had 2 people back out so I have 2 extra tickets for this Thursday Gary Clark Jr. at Stubbs. Tickets are emailed that you have to print. Price was $50+fees. I can sell for $40 each. (hope it's ok to put this here)
  10. There was a good thread on Shaggy with many variations. I'll start with this one from LSU tailgate. Cream cheese, chorizo, jalapeños, and Oaxaca cheese. Smoked for about an hour and half I think (that was a long day). I'd add more cheese next time.
  11. The line about the Nashville sound being change jingling in the pocket was interesting. They were already doing whatever it took to sell records in the 50/60s. But since the artist were still real as mentioned above, then the music was still real and good. That and I guess there was still a mix of traditional. Nowadays, it's all change jingling crap. At least we have a lot of other places to look to find the good stuff though. Great series so far...
  12. If trading with Apple, you'll get a return box in the mail a few days after you get the phone, then they credit the card you purchased with when it's received.
  13. Second this. Rick is a good friend of mine and he's as straight up as they come. So, do I just ask for the Paco rate?
  14. Probably because I was in a good mood to start it but the opening bit killed me. Well it all started when I dove head first into the shallow end of the pool at 23.
  15. Bill Burr was much better than the last one. Fuckin crushed all of it as he would say.
  16. 5000 people at 5:30? Those people are crazy but may God and Bevo bless 'em.
  17. I went at 1:00 today to get ours but found several people who went at 1:00 on Thursday and stayed overnight. LSU and Texas people.
  18. Damn, I'm white AF but was able to figure that out.
  19. I'm SW Austin. I hear what you're saying. I definitely don't want surgery. I wanted an MRI so the PT would know exactly what we're dealing with and rehab accordingly. I have an appointment with orthopedic surgeon next week. The guy worked for UT for over 30 years and is in UT Hall of Honor so I suspect he knows what he's doing. I only have the MRI report but it notes minor tears in two RC tendons and something called a SLAP tear of labrum. The latter I think is the real issue but will find out next week. Oh, and I hate my bed but it is not a foam mattress.
  20. Add me to the list of fucked up shoulders. Got an MRI through family doctor but now need a specialist. Anybody got a orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulders?
  21. Plate talk not going away (I think)
  22. Beat me to it! Was about to post the same. In short, it's about insisting on playing banged up in the Rose Bowl and being the last guy in the locker room after the game with jersey still on because he knew it was the last time he would wear it. Great stuff...
  23. Not going to ACL but just got tickets for Gary Clark Jr at Stubbs. Pre-sale is now and passcode is LONGHORN for both shows.
