Texas Recruiting Notes 2023: Strippers, Monkeys, and 5-Stars
Just to make sure, I wasn't referring to the Brocks. And I clearly remember a poster called no poster thinking that the 3-star offer was wasted.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2023: Strippers, Monkeys, and 5-Stars
so no poster thought that the offer to the 3 star brother was wasted?

Texas Recruiting Notes 2023: Strippers, Monkeys, and 5-Stars
Are they the same posters that didn't think the the 3-star brother that was offered to ge his 4-star brother was a wasted offer?

$9.95 worth every penny
I disagree. Most of his success came because of Winston. I believe that I read that in his last 20 ACC conference games, he went 10-10.

Dickie V has cancer
It wasn't meant to be uplifting. It's called reality.

Dickie V has cancer
Good for Dickie but never assume that you're cancer free and it won't come back. The fight never really ends.

That's 2 things you couldn't do.

Texas Basketball 2022-23
It's not that big of a challenge to keep former players as part of the program when their coach leaves. There have been letterman reunions for over 40 years where lettermen get together and catch up and get to spend time with current players. The difference is that there are more ways to communicate today than in the past.

Arterio Morris
I haven't been following this thread very closely, so I don't know the facts. What I do know is that someone better get to this kid and quick. This time next year, some team will probably be throwing millions at this kid, and he better have his head on straight. If the best result would be to keep him on the team, do it. If the best thing is something else do that.

Actually, Jesus was a 1 star.

Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
The real problem with aggy and it's been this way for at least the 50 years that I have dealt with them is they think they are a national power and so they are trying to recruit nationally. That's a huge problem. and bigger mistake. Why would a kid in Florida go all the way to aggy. Same with Georgia, Alabama, etc. It's not happening.

My mom is from Brooklyn, so we are probably related. Lucky you.

Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
Johnny Football was a 3 star. Like another poster said, what would aggy know about winning trophies in any decade since the beginning of WW2. Excluding meat judging.

Jimbo 2023: Watch.The.Tape.
Since your team went 2-4 in your division last year. maybe you need a new plan.

Texas Basketball Recruiting Notes: Keep Austin Beard
It's about development and putting the pieces together. Almost every year, a mid major will make a run at March Madness. Its called playing together. I think that I saw that Duke had 4 kids drafted yesterday. Kentucky is full of one and dones that's no guarantee. I certainly wouldn't turn down a kid with NBA potential but its a lot more than that. ,

Texas Basketball Recruiting Notes: Keep Austin Beard
Had there been a star system back then, Johnny would have probably been a high 2 star or low 3 star. Had Robinson and Wilson not gotten hurt, both of them could have had long pro careers.

Give me your top 10 NBA players of all time
I had season tickets back then and saw all of those games and I agree. They played well as a team but their talent was going to put fear into very many teams.
