Great minds and all, as I have been trying to get back into reading physical books. I haven't done so in....well im ashamed to say how long but let's just say I have two kids in single digits and I am the primary caregiver in my home. So if I sit down for more than 15 mins, I usually doze off or let my eyes glaze over while watching the same reel of a cat sneezing funny on insta. One of my resolutions this year was to read at least 5 physical books, across a few genres. Wanting to start with something history related that isnt too dry and can be a bit of a pageturner. Any reccs? (i know this is off-topic slightly, so feel free to insult my lineage and physical characteristics).
Yep. Forgot blacklab brought a ringer. Didn’t realize he was also his own guru/golf Rasputin. Now it makes total sense they won by a Kim Jong-il level margin.

on honeymoon in St Lucia, we stayed at a small resort. One of the few other guests staying during our stay was a German family. The father was clearly an avid consumer of sausage/schnitzel/good German beer, as he had a proud round gut and the requisite girth to go along with it. Lacking the normal level of public scrutiny/shame, dude ROCKED the smallest speedo allowable by international law. It was quite the sight. Later on during a trip to a wonderful botanical gardens, the German father and his son diligently both photographed and videotaped almost each and every individual flower.
I have not removed my hat, faced the flag, or put my hand on my heart for the anthem in close to a decade.
also Canada’s anthem blows ours out of the water.
Yep. That’s what my playing partner and I got sloshed on while winning the Epic Fail Trophy for finishing last place at the Inaugural Shaggybevo (RIP) Open at Mo Willy, circa….fuck I can’t even remember. I only really recall getting cart stuck in mud and my buddy form tackling me on the 18th green.
for you old timers, I believe Snow Dog was one of our foursome.
Only saving grace was I was able to take it down myself, and didn’t have to give in to the circling band of jackals trying to quote me $2k to take down a tree. Didn’t even destroy my house in the process (don’t mind that dented gutter, it was totally already there).
