Why do we have so many blue chippers in defense if they are going to give up so many points every game? Might as well focus on offensive recruits like OU does.
K-State is a 2.5 point favorite at home. I would like nothing more than Tech beating the heck out of K-State on the road just for the LOLs. Come on, Tech!
You are correct, Sir. The other aspect to his business model is being able to get his guys to the NFL so that he can continue to train them. That's why he gets so agitated when his guys don't get playing time. I am not sure what he is doing is any different from what FBI busted some basketball agents and Adidas for. Won't shock me in the least if we discover that Adidas is behind this as well. Isn't A&M an Adidas school?
This LSU team is nothing like last year's and they still put up a good fight. I expected them to lose. We will see how Pirate does as the season goes on.
Funny thing is, Footwork King, who appears to be in Aggy payroll, had a Twitter meltdown yesterday because his guys (Demond Demas and Spiller) were not getting playing time. He said something like, he was promised Demas would play and that he didn't like liars.
I get that but the intensity was vastly different. Those teams had better athletes and yet we tackled much better, with intent. Against Tech, they were mostly standing around and made half ass attempt to tackle. That's what I attribute to getting fired up only for certain games.
What is confusing to me is that Texas played great defense against Utah and Georgia the year before, so it's not like they can't do it. Perhaps the problem is that the Coach can't get them fired up for every game. They had one good game against a shitty team and everyone was telling them how great they were. They thought they could just waltz into Lubbock and dominate. Human psychology is a powerful thing and great coaches know how to use it.
Sam didn't play his best game but WRs did him no favor until the final minutes of the game when Sam figured out Josh Moore is the go to guy when you absolutely need a third down conversation or TD. You don't throw to Schooler on 3rd and long where he has to make a contested catch. He is no Duverney. I hope between Jake Smith and Josh Moore we will have two reliable targets when things break down.
I had such high hopes for BJ but seems like all he is good at is making occasional hard hits. He doesn't try to do any other things that a DB should do.
I know how it played out. He trashed Texas repeatedly and then bounced around and settled with TCU since nobody else would take him. I was just pointed out that karma is a bitch. I wish nothing but bad things to recruits who trash us after receiving a scholarship offer from us.
