You missed the 2 pages during the Florida series rain delay dedicated to the Galvan shuffle. Got a thorough discussion on how it makes him worse at the plate just for him to homer in his first AB after the delay. Good times
I think they should think about adding play-in games like basketball before they think about expanding the field.
This year would have been as good a year as any to do it. Let UConn play Kentucky and let SELa play Oklahoma State for the right to get in
There will never be a perfect system and I don’t think under .500 in conference play should disqualify you from an at-large bid. I do think you should have to win half your conference series to be eligible to host. Tennessee only winning 4/10 conference series and hosting is a joke
Only one player on K-State has struck out 50 or more times and you probably guessed who it was, Dee Kennedy. 75 strikeouts on the year for Dee, glad he is keeping the tradition alive
HCU’s “Ace” is Parker Edwards, two way player for them that leads their team in HRs (9). HCU only has 28 HRs as a team.
Schlossnagle’s offense is going to present problems for them.
Auto bids are not the issue, they just need to be awarded to the regular season conference champ. That would then render the conference tournaments useless. So it will never happen
UConn took 2/3 from Miami in Coral Gables. It’s baseball and anybody can have an off weekend but that is pretty brutal for UConn (41st RPI) to get left out and Miami (40th) to get in. Especially when Miami lost 6 of their last 7 games
