Yea they have like 17 Seniors and Super Seniors starting, not to mention McCarthy will more than likely declare for the draft. They’ll still be a decent team I’m sure but they won’t be in the same ballpark of the team they are this year.
About 9 1/2 months until the 2024 season starts, he might not be fully up to speed for the beginning of the season but he should be ready to go for conference.
The Tez Walker situation was completely different, they had a leg to stand on because his freshman season got completely canceled due to Covid so he never played a down or had the opportunity to at his initial school. They still had to threaten the NCAA with a lawsuit to force their hand, Neyor doesn’t have that leg to stand on as he has actually played for 2 different schools.
The only way Neyor is getting a waiver is if he has a family member with a terminal illness and wants to transfer back to TCU/SMU to be closer to them.
The NCAA is the one granting the waiver so no shit they wouldn’t do shit, also the vast majority of those waiver requests for a second transfer have been denied. He’s not getting a waiver if he doesn’t graduate.
It’ll be interesting to see if Shedur heads to the NFL after this season, Brugler has him at 24 in his latest top 50 today. If he leaves Deion is going to be up a shit creek without a paddle.
Yea, we lose a ton in the back field after this year. I’d be shocked if Brooks and Muhammad aren’t the starters and damn good but I’d be equally shocked if Kobe wasn’t the 3rd or 4th corner and rotated in a bunch.
Legit is a pretty strong word, Stone and the Missouri kid from last year are both legit. Jayden Jackson is a top 150-200 kid that you outbid everyone else for and there’s pretty much nothing after that the last 2 classes. You really need to close on Okoye for it to be anywhere close to legit and even then you lack any depth at all.
I’m betting Nahlin is sandbagging too at this point, IT has been way to confident. I’m sure they have a deal for an exclusive interview in exchange for drumming up some suspense.
It’s been said we had a competitive offer for Lucas and DC. Lucas signed for 300k so I’m assuming competitive offer in that neighborhood, if they both had 200-250k NIL offers with them signing it would reason we should have a nice slush fund to money whip a guy or 2.
They have 250-275 left over from their bonus pool but you can go 5% over your pool amount and just pay a tax so that’s another 300ish. They have around 600k left before they would lose picks next year.
Anybody advising the kid to do anything other than take 500k and go join a top 3 organization in baseball doesn’t have his best interest in mind.
Unless they are offering him peanuts which I’m sure they aren’t there really isn’t a better situation for him. One of the premier organizations in baseball with an outstanding resume of developing prospects.
Not to mention 99% of those guys wouldn’t have been drafted anywhere close to top 10 rounds to begin with and had prearranged deals before they were even drafted. They didn’t get cheated out of anything, in majority of instances they are getting 10-15k more than what they should have if they were drafted on their actual talent/prospect grades.
I’d rather wipe my ass with a poison Ivy leaf than read anything that dumb fuck says. It’s pathetic when Ketch’s fat ass runs circles around you in anything but he’s lapping DT in the credibility department.
Gerry also said if Georgia offers it would be extremely hard for anybody to beat them. It sounds like Texas despite their efforts aren’t getting much traction with either Oak Ridge boy.
