  1. I could only find his sophomore highlights. Looks a lot like Byron Murphy. He wrecks. Nice offer.
  2. I saw the guy firsthand. I know what’s on the film. You made a claim that we should tap the [brakes]. I say fuck that. Brown has 5⭐️ highlights that go on for nearly 8 minutes. I’ve never seen a more destructive DT at the high school level. Maybe some as destructive, though none come to mind. But don’t worry, I’ve sent this film to a guy who broke down recruiting film at UT under Mack and I’ll let you know if he disputes me.
  3. In high school, he was not amazing. I never felt he was amazing. His high school film is not anywhere near as good as Brown’s. Thank you. I hope you’ll forgive my ending a sentence in a preposition. I try not to cast too many pearls before swine 😉
  4. You post it. You’re the one saying he’s amazing. Where’s this “amazing” film you speak of? I played in his district with multiple guys who were more impactful players than he.
  5. He didn’t have high school film like that. And really, he wasn’t amazing. He was a gifted athlete, but not an amazing football player.
  6. It was 2009, but you’re right about the comp. I had the same trigger.
  7. Especially in the weight room and with nutrition. My understanding is that Florida public schools don’t have a “UIL” period where kids are lifting weights. If that’s true and this kid is doing all this hell-raising on natural strength, he’s going to explode with some training.
  8. Brown is a complete freak. He reminds me of Kramer in the Karate class with 8-year olds.
  9. He might be a pussy, but he’s not ass.
  10. I never saw Leonard Davis in high school, but this is how I imagine his highlights might have looked. He’s pretty freaking quick.
  11. I agree with this. I always felt Harris’s value was based on potential. This kid is manhandling people on his hudl. Completely destroying everything. Throwing kids with one hand. It’s incredible.
  12. Odunze has X’s speed with Mitchell’s size. At least he does on paper. I would draft Worthy over Mitchell, but they’re both fantastic. Mitchell gets the benefit of single coverage a lot because DCs are doubling X. And I understand GMs loving odunze over both of them. He’s a pretty special player with traits you can’t coach.
  13. I think the question of whom to double cover is situational, but I think most situations demand doubling Worthy. The one exception is maybe money downs, but generally, you double Worthy because he will score if you don’t. You can usually tackle Mitchell unless he’s already in the end zone. You’re not catching Worthy in the open field.
  14. Not all our weapons. Catalon already hopped in the portal and he plays a position where we have our greatest weakness. We also don't know if X will be 100% for the game, just like we didn't find out about the broken hand he played several games with (and Quinn's finger issue on his throwing hand) until after last season was all said and done. I do expect Watts at corner and Baxter at RB to be near full strength..or at least I hope. Bobby says X will be 100%. He and Baxter and Watts have a full month to heal their bumps and bruises. I tend to agree with Bobby that we’ll be 100%, but you’re right that we won’t know anything for sure. Catalon is not a weapon. Not in this game. He’d only be a liability.
  15. If y’all run well on us, you’ll likely beat our ass. I’m counting on our interior linemen caving in your interior OL and forcing Penix into some bad decisions and bad throws. I’m also optimistic because we will be at full health with all of our weapons. We’ve vastly improved on 3rd and 4th down defense and rush defense, the two areas that got us beaten by y’all last year. Add to that our depth at RB and the new WR threats and the year of improvement for Quinn and I like our odds. Y’all definitely are capable of beating us, though. Your biggest strength is a problem for our biggest weakness.
  16. Are you really just an Oregon fan trying to make the entire Washington fan base look like cretins? Because, if so, bravo.
  17. Not to mention he’d just loot his Ole Miss roster through the portal and bring them to Gainesville.
