I'm quickly moving from the "who cares" camp to having a real dislike for him. Make whatever decision makes sense for you, but at this point both he and USC should just sthu and keep their collective heads down.
Pretty much sums it up. Nobody is sleeping on a kid when said kid is offered as a Soph. This is more about justifying to the locals why they didn't pick the local school. No need to manufacture drama when all you have to say is Bama is on a different level right now and that's the decision. Fair enough and we'll look forward to squaring off against you in a couple years. Making up a bunch of reasons to not pick the local school is ridiculous.
All three CBs on Texas with a very recent one from an OU mod. Given we've seen no shhh emoji from BC this is likely a top (insert number) tweet. Of course, TFB has a trending post on him, so you never know.
Watched the HUDL and he ran away from plenty of defenders. Catches the ball extremely well. He looks like another very versatile athlete that given a couple years to develop will be a handful.
We've offered George and by all accounts would shut down OL recruiting if he and Lindberg came on board. The Evans recruitment may very well go south at some point, but it won't be over whether we want George. We do.
Yep. The environment has completely changed with the portal and liberal granting of waivers. I'm sure TH will adjust, if he hasn't already, but the staff needs to include a legit personnel department that manages all options for talent acquisition. We also need to have people dedicated to re-recruiting those already signed and on campus. Constantly. Game has definitely changed.
Was thinking something similar about the trajectory of the program. Love what guys like LJH and Omenihu brought to the program, but it's not like we're rolling out freak athletes from our upperclassmen right now. And we still won 10, played for the B12 'ship and knocked of UGa. Give it one more year and the roster will stacked from top to bottom. The future is definitely bright.
Hard for me to imagine Tommy and James end up elsewhere. Older brother Luke had scholly's to Rice & Oregon St and chose to walk-on at Texas. You don't do that unless there's a serious pre-disposition to being a Longhorn and your family completely in your corner on the decision.
Reports on various players are all over the map right now. Things will settle by the end of the spring and heading into the summer. Josh White supposed to be back on campus this weekend with Omeire. Never know how things might unfold.
By the third quarter of that Kansas game I was quietly hoping it would end in a loss. That was the only way CS was going to be replaced that year and thank goodness it happened.
