Yeah, a friend whose a huge Steelers fan was trying to tell me how the team didn’t hire coaches with prior HC experience, Steelers way… so much for that.
Genoa is quite nice, I’m staying inside their old town and it’s full of narrow alleys where you never know what interesting cafe and restaurant you’ll stumble onto. Where you go from a plaza with families and make a few turn and oh look, I’m in the red light district all of a sudden! Also the food has been fantastic. I never had panissa till getting here and now I can’t wait to make it at home. Farinata, Trophie with pesto (best I’ve ever tasted), Pansoti… list goes on and on. And sign me up for focaccia genovese from now on.
I try to mimic XML formatting. For my org’s needs it’s the only way to consistently to get the LLM to pay attention to sections and specific conditions. Otherwise it’s too random or it’ll get more creative then we need it to be.
I have a made up role at my org. Somehow I’ve become the prompt expert working with our internal developers. Whatever… I’ll take the job security and pivot to the next thing. Yay liberal arts education.
Reminds me of an early conversation i had with my director when he first moved to Cupertino from France. Only thing I knew about him was he loved coffee. I love coffee, so i thought i give him some beans from my favorite local roaster. A week passed and I asked him if he enjoyed the beans. Tells me not yet on the account of having a hard time deciding which type of in wall coffee/espresso machine to install in his kitchen remodel. I didn’t even know such things existed!
What the what… I thought the stereotype was that Italian transit runs late. My connecting train in Milan takes off 6-7 minutes early just as I get to the platform. 😄
Talk about it seems that on average most people around the world don’t know their history. In Italy and was having a conversation with a 30-ish Italian girl. Eventually it goes to current events and she asks me what’s going on in the US because she’s seeing Good/Minneapolis story nightly. Hard to go into too much details over why this is happening, but eventually and unironically she tells me, “I just can’t imagine something like this ever happening here.” 😅
