Man, this thread has really gotten academic. Cool, cool, cool. I have to admit that I haven't been checking in on it as much since mid-January, because with MTG in the news constantly I've been hearing a lot about QAnon.
So admittedly I was completely unaware of this:
I thought these poor dumb bastards had finally come to terms with their Savior getting shitcanned as the new President was sworn in and the insurrection got put down. But shame on me for thinking that these cultists would ever get grounded in reality...
aggy John Weaver in big trouble...

Man, can someone provide a summary of the most relevant events? I left here last night feeling pretty good, just knowing that we may be in a good place with Bryan Carrington and Jake Langi, and having been entertained by a face-off between our resident $9.95er and our resident Usain Bolt Big Cigar aficionado.
After a busy morning I sifted through quite a few pages and couldn't figure out what the fuck happened, except the following:
Some dude named Cooterhorn broke the following news:
And then this happened:
followed by
and finally
What else is there?
yeah, sorry, I go on tangents sometimes. I meant players from Texas. The teams he's had win the MNC that immediately came to my mind (including LSU) had prominent kids from Texas. Kinda depressing, really.
You're killing me.
But seriously folks, I hope the Kool Aid I'm drinking on Coach K won't kill me. I see a brighter future for our program. We are due.
Since I'm less refined, I've got the sounds of Officer Clark from Hollywood Knights singing stuck in my head. "Lawrence, Lawrence of Arabia. He was an English Guy. He came to fight the Turkish."
Damn me!
Tnanks for bringing to my attention that I never said they were bad. Just that you can't assume they are great. You have to look for more data. I hope you enjoyed the example. Belichick may be a surly guy but he is a witch when it comes to coaching.
Nobody has to be an NFL guy to consider the following fundamental principle: never assume that a coordinator of a very successful unit is great (OC or DC) if their Head Coach is known to be great at that same position. For Matt Patricia, his Head Coach is not only an excellent defensive mind, but he is known for directing practice to cover everything that he thinks is important. Here is a great example of of Belichick's influence on one of the most significant defensive plays in Super Bowl history (note that the defensive coordinator is not mentioned in this passage):
Oh yes, the Circular Firing Squads are going to be fun to watch over the next four years.
Also, I'm not looking backwards in this thread, but did this get posted? (one of my faves from yesterday)
