While I agree in principle, this probably has nothing more to do than us getting our dicks kicked into the dirt on a yearly basis by TCU. Also add in that TCU just had a Thorpe winner and a JG was flakey kid to begin with.
I went about a month ago with wife and 5 year old and here's my findings.
The bad: There's a putt-putt and go kart place just north of broken bow proper in Hochatown but it's only about an hours worth of entertainment total. The "petting zoo" literally smells so bad we couldn't breathe and left right after one of the coked up goats flew off of a picnic table and rammed me in the back of the knee. Beaver's Bend Brewery is a pretty nice setup as far as entertaining but all the beers were poor to very poor.
The good: Beaver's Bend State Park is one of the most beautiful areas I've ever been. They have a trail that's good for the kiddos that's only about 1.5 miles and they have a forked off area that goes to a little over 3. If you can rent a boat I'd highly suggest a day out there on the lake. Girls Gone Wine is a nice place to drop all the wives off if they want to do something separate. Ate one night at the Blue Rooster which is about as good as the dining will get in the area. Depending on the kids ages there's a paintball place there too (Wild Hog).
Crack streams looks to have switched to a different working url that I can't find. If anyone has the hook up for tonight expect a rep fest coming your way
The ending to Terminator 2. John Connor's desperation. The music score. A perfect ending to one of the best movies ever made and still gets me a little choked up

I don't know shit about fuck on how to get the vid to imbed
Went to Terry Black's in Deep Ellum today. Line was insane long but moved fast as shit, they really have it together from a efficiency standpoint. Asked for two pounds of moist, the guy cutting gave me my two pounds then chopped up another pound of burnt ends and threw it on free of charge telling me "happy father's day". Also did the same thing for the turkey I ordered for the boy. Everything was awesome, which is good for as much as they charge per pound. As about as perfect a bbq experience as I've ever had.
Went to architecture school downtown and walked over to Pico's for many a meal. Pretty damn good from what I remember and as a poor I could get quite full off of the free chips and salsa

Man, when the Stone Oak location was still around I would grab their lunch special which was two slices and a salad for like 6.99 if I remember correctly. Loved that place.
