  1. Everyone would like Wendell Gregory. Nobody wants to pay what he's asking.
  2. If there's hype for this, I'm fucking astonished Minnesota could afford to keep Anthony Smith and Karter Menz. I guess that's where the Koi Perich money went.
  3. Isaiah Horton is the #2 WR? He sucked at Miami, has one year of Bama shine and he's good now?
  4. Rich Rod got one look at the roster and decided to just start over.
  5. I mean it'd seem like Christian Clark is the odd one out and most likely to leave. Raleek can just go pro if he wants. He'll probably be day 3 pick. 5th-6th round probably pays about the same.
  6. Alliegro is like a dude who went to Wisconsin and then realized Jim Leonhard wasn't coaching there anymore. He went in thinking he was going to play on a top 10 defense every year and found out the new coach was an air raid pussy in dairy land.
  7. I'm not saying you should give him 7 figures, but trying to pretend that Raleek Brown secretly sucks is kind of a weird take. He would be your best running back unless Clark makes the leap.
  8. He's going to cost a fucking fortune for a safety and it'll be a 1 year, off to the 1st or 2nd round thing. And yeah, he almost went to Ohio State out of high school. I'd assume they're all over him.
  9. ASU (and probably Raleek Brown) thought he was going pro. I'm guessing his draft grade isn't where he wanted it to be. Not as great of a receiving option as you'd think, though how much of that was Jeff Sims and Leavitt's laser focus on Jordyn Tyson, I don't know. USC tried to turn him into a WR after he looked pretty good as freshman RB, and that didn't work out at all. He's serviceable, but you look at the skillset and think he should be some kind of monster in the passing game. None of that's to say he isn't a very good RB. He's patient, he's playing over 190 this year so he isn't the shrimp he once was, and obviously he can make people miss. He moves really well. He'll be a clear upgrade for you and, I think, will pair well with Christian Clark. Maybe Sark can get him more involved as a receiver- He certainly seems like he should be lethal out of the backfield.
  10. This is going to be such a great meltdown.
  11. If Texas isn't in the playoffs, it isn't because they're being punished for losing to Ohio State. It's because they lost to Florida. FWIW, I think Ole Miss seems to be getting a pass. They've got a win over Oklahoma. So does Texas. The only other winning teams they've played all year are Tulane and LSU, except they seem to still be getting big win credit for LSU like they were still 5 and not 7-5. BYU has a better resume than Ole Miss does, but was last in the 11 spot, which is functionally first team out.
  12. I'm honestly confused how ASU has a really good TE and a fast main RB that can get into the flats in a hurry and they're just constantly dogshit in "and goal" situations. Like it's the playcalls, but why? What's the fucking hurdle?
  13. Norm went to the NFL the previous spring.
  14. All the list above means is that the teams with the tradition of juggernaut defensive lines tend to win against the other good teams once there's a certain threshold of games played. Unless you're James Franklin, though his DL's always seemed like more a collection of individual standouts than a great group. Penn State's inability to win big games is weird.
  15. I sometimes wonder how much of Sark's reputation as being a brilliant offensive playcaller is just the Norm Chow disciple shine he got early in his career.
  16. Got you. I think Nebraska, unless they catch lightning in a bottle, are done as a powerhouse. There will be good years, but they don't have a natural recruiting base. If anything, Minnesota's more likely to have some strange resurgence... But they're both relics as far as I'm concerned. There were advantages that don't exist anymore. Maybe CHS or Cargill decide they wanna roll with the Gophers I guess? I dunno. This TD brought to you by Target? I don't think you gotta wait for the data to catch up. Once the reason it's over is apparent, it's pretty much over.
  17. They do. It just takes a while. Or are Nebraska and Minnesota back? Because that's a lot of old and currently irrelevant championships.
  18. They're soft. Moreover, Riley basically lost a few games because he wouldn't stick to a working run game. PJ Fleck was basically calling him out on the predictability after they lost to Minnesota. Also, their best player on D got hurt. Eric Gentry is a beautiful gazelle of a linebacker that I wish never left ASU. Dude played like 4 games and still lead the team in TFLs.
  19. To be fair, they're old transfers. Most of them were brought in a while ago. Sun Devils have the most returning starters from a team in the P4. The transfers are because of the mass exodus during all the NCAA bullshit- Keep in mind, ASU prior to all their problems had Jayden Daniels, Omar Norman-Lott, Ricky Pearsall, Johnny Wilson Jr., Elijhah Badger, Jermayne Lole et al all supposed to come back. Then disaster and roster depletion. So they brought in new dudes, and new dudes were good enough to win the Big 12. And now those new dudes are the highest returning starter count in the country. ASU returns 17 starters. And like 17 backups. It's a LOADED team by any stretch of the word besides recruit ranking.
  20. I don't care what meds he forgot to take, this is fantastic. He's a complete shit show. Remember that Key and Peele Anger translator bit? Aranda needs a Narnia translator.
  21. You bought a broken Lole. What Texas got was reasonable depth, but nothing like the 2019/2020 version. He got hurt over and over again and was a shell.
  22. Jordyn Tyson would have been a late 1st rounder this year if he didn't break his collar bone in the last game of the regular season. It wasn't a 1 year wonder. He was Colorado's best player on a dogshit team and dipped when Deion came in to recuperate, then was outstanding once Leavitt got to slow the game down. ASU lost a game because Leavitt was hurt against Utah, but between the Cincinnati loss and bye, it felt like everything clicked and Tyson went off. Leavitt threw 16 TD's to 1 INT in the latter half of the season with a lot of it going to Tyson. And Tyson has all the stuff. Decent size, really fast, great routes, great contested ball catcher and he can make plays. If Tyson's collar bone isn't broken, he's probably a late 1st rounder in this last draft. You missed on ASU's 2nd or 3rd best play maker. Which... Look, nobody was beating OSU so it's just bragging rights, but they had another dude y'all didn't deal with that would be a problem.
  23. None of 'em. They're hoping Dillingham's a lifer. He's from the Valley, went to ASU, got his first college job at ASU, etc. Think he's still the youngest FBS HC, or at least "power conference" head coach. Dude's in his mid 30s.
  24. Yeah. Look, we've been waiting for the "Quiet Giant" to wake up for decades, but I think Dillingham is the right guy at the right time. Helps that a bunch of his staff are former AZ HS coaches that all won a bunch of state championships. There's like 3 of them, plus Ward the DC is a valley guy and Arroyo just got burned on starting the UNLV rebuild before being fired so someone else could win with his guys. They've got a ton of investment from the coaching staff, not just NIL managing to keep the roster intact.
  25. ASU lost like 5 or 6 people from their entire 2 deep, brought in a 1,000 yard rusher to replace Skattebo and is somehow going from #7 in the last top 25 to mid teens and I'd just love someone to justify it besides "Well Texas really wasn't trying" or some shit. They have an All American caliber WR that missed the CCG and Peach Bowl back now too. There's some preseason cooking going on.
