Taking the lawyers' word at face value, this is a perfect example of why you have to let some assholes go. Your supposed friend left his gun in your car and didn't tell you. So now a future NBA lottery pick is riding around with a loaded gun. Cops pull him over, and anything could happen. I've hung some shitty people in my life, but even they wouldn't leave something in my vehicle without my knowledge. And then getting a text about a gun you didn't know you had should spur some type of follow up. Miller should make the most of his 2nd chance because he most likely got away with some serious shit.
But he wasn't involved in the actual shooting, sir. He just delivered the gun and just happened to park his car where it blocked the vehicle that the victim was in. Wrong place, wrong time.
For the last two seasons EB was on a one year contract. Almost like they were trying to make him leave. I understand not standing in his way if a better job comes along. But damn if he was as valuable as Reid claims, wouldn't he want to keep EB around for as long as possible? Is there some kind of time limit on how long a guy can be an OC? Seems Reid is saying one thing while his actions say something totally different? Maybe some weird shit was happening behind the scenes. And now Matt Nagy is coming back to be OC. Of course, after they fulfill their Rooney obligations. Leaving was definitely the right and only decision to make.
