Dak has 2 weeks to get back into a rhythm before we play a team with a pulse. Still not too worried about him.
The lions had a bye and 14 days to prepare for us while we had a late night hard fought game in Philly. Some of that showed on the early game here. The lions benefitted from the extra time to prep and rest, but they’re still a bad team who cratered in the end. Frustrating how the giants and Philly can’t lose a game.
NBC news out with a poll today that showed 48-47 GOP. This late in the election only being down 1 tells me that at least we won’t see a red wave like in 2010 or 2014.
I hear it all the time. Most people have this non-sense belief that they are the only ones who work hard and nearly everyone else gets by on government assistance. It is a strange phenomenon.
Betting markets are insane right now. Just insane and defying all logic.
dr. Oz has never led a single poll this entire election cycle and the MAGA idiots have Oz favored 60-40 over Fetterman in Pennsylvania. They have Kelly near 50-50 with Masters who I think hasnt let in any polls either.
they also have Walker 55-45 over Warnock. Did millions of Georgians watch the debate? Walker could barely put a sentence together and pulled out some phony police badge.
Fetterman, Kelly, and Warnock should still have a lead right now, the only one who I think should be in trouble is Cortez masto.
I still laugh at the people who vote gop who celebrate when the GOP passes a massive tax cut and they brag about having $50 dollars of their tax money returned to them for a tank of gas while the wealthy gop voter is saving something like $500,000 or even $5 million.
The GOP gets away with so much shit. They complained about going to bed on election night with trump up by 20 points in some states that he later lost. Well…… if the GOP who run the state legislature in those states actually let people count early votes ahead of time instead of on election night we could finish faster.
Hobbs really is an awful candidate. Arizona is getting bluer each election cycle, she’s facing a whacko opponent, and she still can’t get a lead in the polls. I mean Kelly is probably going to win by 4 or 5.
About 20 years ago, he would’ve been disqualified, disowned, and taken off the ballot by his own party.
Now? The MAGA crew will double down, they will talk about how masculine the guy is and say libs are a bunch of wussy soyboys who don’t have enough hormones to jack off. Hannity will arrange an interview, Arizona state GOP will defend him, and everyone will still say “still BEATS having a lib in that office”.
As far as I know, the Democratic Party highly encourages vote by mail ( if you live in a normal state which allows it) or early voting. I personally don’t know any of my friends or family who both vote dem and vote on Election Day. I’m sure some dems still do tho.
Political experts are always highly skeptical of getting young voters to the polls. It’s one thing to register someone to vote, it’s another thing entirely for them to actually vote.
I still think it generated a ton of momentum for dems this cycle in the summer and early fall that should pay off after the votes are counted. We went from a red wave environment where the dems were losing in places like Virginia and almost losing in New Jersey to over performing in special elections.
I doubt we see a blue wave, but dems should be engaged enough to stop a red one.
