Every player in the secondary played like ass. Why?
The entire prized SECSECSEC were peewee level compared to Suh. What a beast. We were lucky to get that 1 second back.

Official Surly - Texas at OK State Game Thread
Take the loss, Pussies. And good game pokes. Your team played inspired tonight unlike ours... Until it was too late. We got Texas'd tonight. Clawed back in with a chance to win just to have that door slammed in our face. Fitting. Hager would be a beast if he actually tackled the ball carrier. Hell if just recognized who had the ball and got in front of them instead of shooting past them looking at the wrong guy, we would probably be the run D in the country. Refs sucked once again... The punt call was a joke. As were a couple others. But it wasn't the refs that cost us this one. This one was lost in multiple areas. _iaz running the defense while Orlando took an entire quarter to take a shit was one big reason. Orlando's ability to make adjustments at halftime is amazing. It's almost as amazing as his ability to wiff on what to expect from teams at the start. I think someone needs to teach him how to use the remote because obviously he's never watched game film on any opponent. At times his calls look genius, but guaranteed to be followed up with the WTF call shortly after. I swear this fucker is a gemini. Half Mike Ditka (generous), part Manny _ias. I don't recall ever seeing a team have so many big plays--HUGE plays--get called back over stupid penalties that are completely unnecessary... HERE IS LOOKING AT YOU, SENIORS. How can our seniors be this undisciplined. Unreal. So many Bonehead mistakes for a senior class. We do have heart and that Texas FIGHT we've been missing for a long time. One game at a time. This team is still ahead of where most of us thought it would be at the start of the season. It's a young team with plenty of room to grow (thank you jesus) I was still a little hesitant on Sam (gun shy), but after tonight, (for me) he is for real. I've never would've believed he could become a rock solid field General after last year. His turnaround has been unparalleled in school history. The wheel he hit tonight, for me, will rank high as one of the prettiest connections in school hostory. I never would have believed he could inprove his accuracy this much since last year. It makes me wonder if there wasn't a shoulder (or something) injury last year. Either way, Sam I Am! Herman. I still don't know what i think about him... He has the tools to be a great coach. But he can look completely clownish too often during games... I hope it's just lack of experience and he will find the grove between aggressive, smart, conservative, big, and sane. Hopefully each of these games are something he is learning from right along with the team... Overall he has been good for Texas and is laying the foundation Strong promised of mental and physical toughness our program is supposed to be built upon. On to the next... Hopefully this is the one where the team and the coaches show up for all 4 quarters and give us fans something to get excited about for the rest of the season and especially looking at next...

We kinda hung with Alabama's 2nd string for two quarters. Another fine quality loss. Put it on the wall.

Realignment talk not going away
We can probably dust this thread off and get ready for things to start heating up as the season starts to wrap up. Things out west are getting interesting (for non PAC fans). Last year there were tons of rumors swirling around during the Texas vs USC game about a realignment meeting taking place. They were spiraling so fast that Scott had to publicly address the rumors to put them to rest. This years game had hints of a continuation of those talks taking place during the USC-Texas golfing event. Informal talks that are not PAC12 related... Over the past 3 years, there has been a steady buildup of displeasure within the PAC12 schools over money compared to others, perception of strength for the playoff committee, failed network, unable to land Direct TV. It starting to reach a boiling point this off season but recent events serve ro only make the situation more volatile. The leak of the replay fiasco and the "Leach texts" to yahoo severed the conference leadership from its members (intentional or not) when there was no support for the head office. I will be shocked if he survives this offseason. But that doesn't solve the PAC issues which is probably the only reason they haven't fired him already. For those still waiting on that PAC bus, not happening... Here is some reasons All the P5 conferences distribute over 90% of the revenue between the schools other than the PAC who distributes around 78%. The PAC schools received a little under 29 million last year of total revenue distribution where the B12 received over 34 million. That's a little over 5 million difference without t-3 deals factored in. For Texas, the total was close to 50 million, with OU, Kansas, and WV a little behind. The small schools in the big 12 are almost doubling what the Pac-12 network pays out... For schools like Texas, OU, and Kansas, the PACNetwork would have to double what the SECN pays out for us to only lose 3 million. And it just gets further apart from there. This year we are supposed to distribute 6.5 to 7 million more than the pack which is part of the problems with the pac. There are a lot of articles out there covering problems out west. http://arizonasports.com/story/1612450/larry-scott-defends-pac-12s-shaky-year-eyes-future-changes-in-college-sports/? https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/pac12/2018/07/27/pac-12-needs-washington-savior-amid-concerns-leagues-future/844363002/? https://awfulannouncing.com/league-networks/commissioner-larry-scott-not-optimistic-getting-pac-12-networks-directv.html? https://www.oregonlive.com/pac-12/index.ssf/2018/09/pac-12_commissioner_larry_scott_says_night_games_u.html? There are serious money concerns. Concerns of the Arizona schools being targeted by the B12. Fears of Colorado wanting to go home and taking Utah with them...Which have led to some very revealing articles that don't portray a healthy conference. Meetings with UH smells of desperation. https://www.nbcsports.com/northwest/video/university-houston-meeting-pac-12-expansion-way ADs becoming vocal about falling further behind each year. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/2018/06/12/panic-pac-12-conference-quickly-falls-behind-rivals/686880002/? National media starting to realize there are major problems out west that's threatened stability. https://www.cbssports.com/g00/college-football/news/cracks-are-forming-in-the-pac-12-will-they-be-patched-before-its-too-late/? Local media unquestioning stability... https://thespun.com/pac-12/pac-12-networks-struggling-revenue Local media placing teams in new homes. https://thespun.com/big-12/conference-realignment-pac-12-breakup A surprising article from USCs dedicated 247 site might be the most telling of all... https://247sports.com/college/usc/Article/ITS-OVER-PAC-12-SO-FAR-BEHIND-IT-WILL-NEVER-CATCH-UP-119936857/? But what could easily become the final nail is ATT sponsorship expires and negotiations are not bringing in DirectTV so Larry threatened to end the partnership... https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/pac-12/could-att-walk-away-from-the-pac-12-networks-and-take-directv-with-it/ The deal expired the end of August, but it seems an extension was agreed upon moving the date to November at which time ATT is expected by most to walk away and to pull PACNET from UVerse. Compete breakdown with ATT could easily break the PaCamel's back.

Tell Me About Texas a&m
We are scared to play aggy... So we ask Alabama if they are interested AFTER aggy turned us down... With the Alabama game, we had Ohio State reach out to me and ask to move our game back a couple years because they were able to schedule Notre Dame. I understood that. I said, “Okay, but let me find a game before we do that.” The athletics cirector at Alabama is a dear friend of mine and said ‘Hey, do you want to play a home-and-home?’ And I said ‘Yeah, let’s do that.’ And we were able to do that. We talked briefly to A&M. A&M was already booked at the time and couldn’t do it. Alabama had an opening and away we went. Usually it’s not that easy. We are now working on games for 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030, 2031, 2032. The AD at TCU will not touch football scheduling until 2031. That’s how far out I booked TCU. I booked every game of the decade from 2020-2030. BON: So you actually have already talked with A&M about a potential game? CDC: Yeah, I said “Hey, if I’m able to move this game does it make sense?” But see the problem isn’t that they said no. It’s all about the timing. So Alabama kicks a cupcake to the curb to play their first home and home since 2011 to play us, but aggy was already booked. CDC was gentle in this interview. Class Act for not slamming classic aggy. Running since halftime of our very first game and still running today... Sad thing is their first team is probably their best team... This is NOT a competition. We are undersized and outclassed by Varsity. Able to admit defeat at the hands of a vastly superior team. No reason to continue falling on their swords just to prove they can take an ass kicking (literal). NO EXCUSES.

A game is not lost when you have a chance (legit in these cases) to win/tie with time still on the clock you fucking ass clown. Take your stupidity back to texag. Your aggy is shining through. I'm sure your daddy Bama and the others that own that ass do not like you leaving the house without permission. So take your ravaged pillow, sheep, lego logs, mason jasr and milk men with you. You belong to the secsecsec now so there's no reason for you to be around the bdf these days. Chow now.

Who Tennessee fans wanted as their head coach
They tend to forget it worked just fine when he was an Kentucky. I would like to see Leach at Arkansas. Close enough to Texas to take advantage of his existing contacts and reopen that Texas Pipeline. Leach Back to torching SEC defenses and owning aggy would make the SEC worth watching.

Baylor @ WVU - FS1 - Thurs. Night CFB
A win is a win... I will take 6 shitty wins over 6 quality losses any day.... This team might be garbage. But it is 6-1 garbage instead of 3-3 trash. That is a good thing. This team could easily lose the rest of it's games this year. But on the flip side, this team could go on a terror and smoke anyone unlucky enough to be in the way... Who knows how it plays out. They could have easily lost 3 of 6 of the they won.... They didn't ... They could have beaten Maryland and were in position to blow out every one else... They didn't... Speculate about could've, would've, should've all you want because it doesn't change shit... Still 6-1. Still ranked 6th.

It's great that we can pick and choose which stats to use from games. Sounds way too familiar.

Kirk Herbstreit is a clown make-up douchebag
That's what happens when you don't choose wisely... Michigan smokes the horns in Rose Bowl.. Strike 1 tOSU by 17 in the Shoe... Strike 2 (outside of Colt's first yr, we owned tOSU since to the point that they were starting to develop a Nebraska type complex). OU to expose Texas in the RRS... Strike 3 Aggy to win B12 south... Strike 4 USC in blowout... Strike 5

Don't mean shit unless those were 6 quality losses

Tell that to recruits that have better things to do than watch football all day saturday so they let espn break down the game recaps.

I'm pretty sure it's really Looch's alter ego when he's not running around as Stuper Aggy.

Two weekly College Football Docuseries coming to ESPN next year
It's really funny how many of their announcers to this day hate Texas over that loss. If they hadn't made complete idiots out of themselves by crowning that USC team the greatest team that has ever been or will ever be before they finished playing all their games, things would've been okay... But the butthurt of being proven wrong over something they were so sure of, burns deep in many of them. I'm pretty sure they all got matching USC championship tramp stamps November of that year.

Urban Meyer's Health Watch
So Urban to aggy in a couple? Sounds about right. Could work... It wouldn't take long for him to figure out (in collie town) his heart's just not into it. Costing aggy another 10's of millions and 3-4 years of "finding the last peices".

Tell Me About Texas a&m
At no time did i say Dumbo was moving. I said it would be funny if he did. Just like i would love to see Leach at piggy so he can get back to owning aggy But if tOSU wants en experienced "name" it will not be cheap. The new norm is 7's

S&P+ rankings: Overperformance or overcorrection?
It should really factor in Sam coming into a rematch with a confidence level that will be difficult to shake. While Murry's will be looking for a reason to fold. I think this will be the biggest factor in a rematch. This OU team looks like a Mack Brown led Texas. It was looking for a reason to collapse against us. The half time locker room meltdown point to severe issues that did not get fixed overnight. It's signs of a cancer in the senior class that didn't sign up for Riley as a head coach and don't buy into his system. They will fold if Texas comes out with a chip and hits them in the mouth (again).

Urban Meyer's Health Watch
I wonder who would replace Meyer if he does leave after this season. I know there are some butteyes floating around here... What's the fan consensus up there? Granted, he will find a way to beat Michigan again this year and all will be forgotten.
-
Tell Me About Texas a&m
It would be fun if they -almost- have a breakout year go 10-2 knock LSU out of the playoffs and sends only Alabama in. Then Meyer leaves tOSU, Dumbo replaces him leaving aggy having find another coach to cashwhip but fails at any big names... The SEC would have years of enjoying belligerent aggy is with their "about to take over the SEC but everyone paid off dumbo to leave" fantasy world.

Mensa offense vs Big 12 defenses
They never did catch up to the Wishbone. Teams moved away from it because 8-9-10-11 in the box made it so easy to score over the top. But no one ever developed defensive scheme that shut down the bone. All they could do is stack the box and hope their athelets were better than the others.

Tell Me About Texas a&m
That only works if the FEDEX trucks are rolling also. Not to mention they still have like 94 years left of their 100 years decision to suck elephant cock. They will never get it. It doesn't matter how many 100 years decisions to run to another conference, they will always be someone's bitch, and no matter which conference they're in, they will never be the University of Texas. They will always be little brother and there is no way out of that.

Tell me about Texas Tech
I will agree that we are built to kill the spread. We have been built to kill the spread ever since the B12 teams migrated to the spread. Some years have been better than others. And i wouldn't consider this year as one where "killed it" and "Texas" fit in the same sentence. We have yet to "kill" anything.

WV liked their chance going into the ISU game too. That team is so J&H. For two years now, they have shown they can beat anyone and lose to anyone.
