The NHL commercial was probably the second funniest sketch this season after Snack Homiez.
The press conference was a very strong post Update sketch. I’d be interested to learn who wrote that.
I think I’m one and done with 1792 Sweet Wheat. It just tastes like young 1792. Nothing special.
I probably won’t revisit the NBC Stella’s Stash either. It’s printed nowhere on the bottle, but it’s almost certainly double oaked. It was darker than a cup of coffee. Just not my jam.
McCollum is going to make $30 million this season and could be washed.
I’d trade for Schroder. The Kings are completely regarded so they’ll probably eat most of his contract in exchange for a pick swap.
Russell going full SGA. Not even looking to shoot. Just looking to get his man in the air and draw contact on every play. This style of play is killing the league.
Do you work for a ESPN talking head show? You just spent most of your post reasoning Notre Dame doesn’t have a quality win, but they have better losses than Texas.
Texas has 2 top 10 wins. Wins matter. “Quality” losses are something that Joe Lunardi made up.
Yep. The last year a SEC team can hide and of course aggy is 8-0. I agreed with the scheduling formula while hating the 8 game conference schedule. This is an unfortunate result of the small schools bitching and moaning about maintaining bowl eligibility.
I will give aggy credit for scheduling Notre Dame. That said, scheduling Samford is shameful.
Wake Up Barstool is growing on me. Their college football recaps on Monday morning are worth your time. It’s about 30-40 minutes off T-Bob and Brandon Walker talking ball with Gruden and Greg Olsen. Portnoy is usually too hungover to say much unless fOSU or Michigan come up.
Record it and fast forward through the other bullshit.
SEC Shorts pulls too many punches for my liking. The only time they truly went in on a team is when Texas lost at home to Bama back in 2022.
If team truly sucks it’s OK to say so and make fun of them. Instead, they tiptoed around the YouTube TV carriage issue. Plenty of meat on the bone elsewhere.
Roll Call is much funnier and more honest.
Gruden has been overly cute on Barstool when asked about it. I think his agent is reaching out to schools.
That said, it feels like year 20 of Gruden is going to take a SEC job.
Stunning statistic. Think about all the 3 and outs, short fields, and quick changes Auburn’s defense has dealt with.
Durkin is a snake, but he can coach defense.
While I agree with the premise, aggy could give a shit if they get smoked in the CFP. They’ll be more than happy just to be there.
Same for Indiana.
I think Oregon fans would very happy with 2 straight CFP appearances, but I think they need to win a game. Probably beat down a North Texas type team in Round 1, and get rolled in the quarterfinals.
