  1. You serious Clark?
  2. I had forgotten about that one.
  3. Yeah, the bastard just parked there. Reminds me of that one that did the same over CenTex in 2015 and refilled Travis in a week.
  4. You don't understand these camp alumni.
  5. For the worried about flooding below Canyon Lake Dam crowd here. This is the extent of the rise in the Guadalupe River level today. I think you're gonna be fine bros...
  6. I highly doubt this. I live less than a mile from the dam. It hasn't rained that much here at all.
  7. Yeah, cell coverage is very limited out there. It could be they just had zero heads-up on this.
  8. I'd say zero. It would take 5 days of this kind of flooding to overflow the dam here. This lake is the lowest it has ever been since it was filled up after the dam was built. My family has a house just downriver from Sattler in Little Ponderosa and it's right on the river. Like 20 steps from the back door to the water. It's been there since the early 50s. We aren't worried in the slightest. All this water will simply be caught by the lake and stay there.
  9. God in heaven. From one of my daughters who is tied into the Mystic Alumni scene -
  10. So, last year we had some pretty good floods near August that put a bit over 2 feet in the lake. The ground was dry as fuck then and the water table was low so a lot got absorbed. Now the water table is up quite a bit and the ground has been pretty soaked over the last couple of months so the lake should catch quite a bit more runoff. Here's a crazy visual comparison of then compared to now, river-flow wise, from the gauge right now in Comfort. All heading here...
  11. Holy shiznit!
  12. I guess 8 to 9
  13. The dot is where I lived for years...
  14. And you just know that is exactly what's going to happen.
  15. Wow - https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2025/07/04/girls-only-camp-along-guadalupe-river-in-kerr-county-evacuated-overnight/
  16. My daughter went to Mystic and keeps up with all the goings on there. She just texted this to me...
  17. No, and neither should I have.
  18. Been on the phone with some pals who live in Kerrville and Ingram. They're guys who have been there their whole lives and each one used the same word - "Unbelievable". I tried to check the Kerrville online gauge level and it's not even reporting. This is something not seen before.
  19. Having lived in Kerrville for years I don't recall a lot of stuff and down river from there that is built up near the river, but if it wasn't close to the roads I was driving along the Guadalupe between there and Comfort I wouldn't know. In the middle of town the river bed is really wide if my memory serves. It's what is up river from Kerrville that is in the crosshairs I'd think. Hunt, Ingram, Waltonia, Mystic, etc.
  20. Yeah, I apologize for that. I just woke up, saw a bit of info and didn't think about how wide this river will get.
  21. "Biggest flood to ever occur on the Guadalupe River..."
  22. It will. This will take the lake up several feet and none too soon. GLORIOUS!!!
  23. Interesting fetish.
