Surprising. Very welcome news for us, though. A healthy Partey will be a huge asset in MF.

This stat, I mean… wow. Martinelli esp has fallen off a clif this year. Jesus adds a lot in a lot of areas, but we need a 20+ goal scorer up top if Martinelli, Saka, and Odegaard aren’t each chipping in ~ 12 to 15 a year. Henry scored 24 and 30 PL goals in 02 and 04, respectively.

Honestly it’s City’s to bottle. Won’t surprise me if they rattle off 12 in a row this spring to clinch it. I’d be more surprised if they don’t. After watching Pool and City win, we roll that out there? Not great, Bob.

Fucking pathetic performance today. Yes, they were gifted the goal, but we’ve been horseshit, and every other facet.

Seriously.... smh. Why are we so invested in this (borderline rigged) shit? These clowns make B12 refs look world-class.

Hey Steel Shank!
Did we just find Steel Shank's Insta handle? My God, that is glorious. The perfectly toasted Eggos (which always come out a little burnt).... the PB and J nestled in to every nook.... Bravo, my good man. Bra. Vo.

Thought they weren't awarding pens on shots taken directly at a defender's arm from close range. No one knows what a handball is anymore, least of all PGMOL.

For sure. Your guess of ~ 85 to win it seems right. Arsenal are expectedly off last seasons blistering 1st half pace but are more solid in MF with Rice. Liverpool are Liverpool again, Villa… no words for the job Emery has done, Spurs are vastly improved under Ange, and City will get KDB back soon. West Ham, Saudi, and Brighton are damn good on their day. The League is deeper than last year, and the top six or seven seven will take more points off each other. Unfortunately this. They’ve dropped points without Rodri and KDB; both will be back in their XI soon (unless Rodri keeps getting himself suspended). Until they don’t, I expect them to flip the Terminator switch and reel off 10 consecutive wins or however many are necessary to clinch the league. First half of last year, they never went more than three matches without dropping points. Then won 12 in a row.

Yup. Three would have been phenomenal, but a point at Anfield is always a good result.

Damn that was a good chance; Saka or Martinelli should have scored. They’re too good to waste opportunities.

Honestly, I'd trade a loss in the FA Cup for six points in the PL. 1989, 1991, 2002, and 2004 have two things in common: The Arsenal won the League, and The Arsenal won at Anfield. The two seem related. Only 1998 did we lose at Anfield and go on to win the league (and that one maybe deserves an asterisk: We won ten consecutive to chase down ManUre, clinched the league with two matches to spare, and then a clearly still-hungover Arsenal lost their next match at Anfield.)
